Mario was looking for a chance to take a nice long vacation after the incident on Prism Island, and he finally got what he wanted. As it turns out the news of his heroic deeds had reached Equestria, a land filled with colorful talking ponies. Princess Celestia had invited them for a nice getaway vacation stay in Equestria as a way of discussing diplomatic agreements between the two kingdoms and Peach had agreed. However upon arriving, to this new land filled with magic and mystery, Mario soon finds himself in an abandoned and deserted town. During his investigation he soon learns that a mysterious individual, the one who called himself the Origami King, had launched an attack on the peaceful town and was now plotting to turn all of Equestria into a folded nightmare. In attempts to stop the twisted dictator, Mario, now accompanied by Olivia and Spike, must travel across Equestria taking out 5 colorful streamers that now protect Celestia's castle and rescue the Elements of Harmony in process.

Also, why are the other villains of MLP: FiM not teaming up with King Olly? I get Chrysalis, of course, but wouldn't the other villains work with him so as to have a place in his Origami Kingdom? And even if they were to be folded into Origami, would they still be themselves, albeit stronger than before?

Thanks for the suggestion,I'll take into consideration of adding the song lyrics into the story. Also to answer your question, King Olly is not the type of villain who seems to cooperate with anyone else, if he did he would've easily tried to manipulate Bowser into forming an alliance however because Bowser was technically also paper, Olly saw him as nothing more than a tool to build his kingdom or rather his army, on top of that as you stated he could easily fold up the other MLP villains and turn them into his puppets, however turning paper into origami is technically the same as "killing" them, which I didn't feel was appropriate to do consider MLP is a kid's show,plus I had other roles for them so I decided against having Olly turn them into Origami
I’m really curious where Discord is.
He is someone really powerful, and he could EASILY and technically could fix everything rather easily and should Theoretically undo any origami people.
That is he COULD if he WANTED too, because I can’t imagine Discord being tricked that easily to get captured and let something like this happen, especially when Fluttershy is in danger.
