Yay! Another spectacularly funny story! This is so fun to read!

A sequel at last!:yay: Well done! This was such a fun read! Aria using Sunset's jacket as a human scarecrow? Did not see that coming! That is genius! Poor Sunset after seeing that. And we have one more sequel with Sonata? Can't wait! Again, well done Peni Parker. Keep up the good work.

“$15 an hour,” Aria said with a small hint of pride in her voice.

Shit, that's more than I make

Sunset Shimmer ran into the Canterlot City library as quickly as her legs would allow her

That must have hurt :rainbowlaugh:

Please, be the pants, please be the pants. I would love to see how non sense Sonata would be trying to find a way to use Sunset pants.

Yo i was thinking the same thing :rainbowlaugh:

“Okay, first it was her socks, then her jacket, what’s next her jeans?”

Canadian dollars or USD? :duck: I can take my "Equestria Girls takes place in Canada" headcanon elsewhere

Factoring in conversion rates, both.

Being paid to stand still and shout bugger off? A dream in raggedy clothes. I’d like to meet the small holding farmer who could afford that in the current agricultural climate though.

It wasn’t long before she saw what appeared to be a straw hat sticking out above the stocks in front of her, taking it as a sign that she was getting close to wherever Aria was at.

I think you meant "stalks." "Stocks" is a whole different kind of modeling. :moustache:

Fun story, though.

Well, that happened.

Well, that comment happened.

15 and hour to stand in a field? Count me in.

Place your bets. What is Sonata asking for?

It's pretty hard to tell the difference in tv, since it makes the USA mostly look like Vancouver.

Pantyhose... because the Dazzlings are having trouble with ice dams at the emu farm.

Funny. Ornithologists have long been claiming crows have human-like intelligence, and formal research has been increasingly backing that up.
https://www.statnews.com/2020/09/24/crows-possess-higher-intelligence-long-thought-primarily-human/

However, if you think you can get into their good graces by politely greeting them with Poe quotes, that might be a bad idea. Crows and ravens are distinct, and while they are biologically compatible, the two species are socially antagonistic towards each other and don't breed except under extraordinary circumstances.

edit, and now I'm imagining a steamy fanfic in Middle English where a crow and raven couple passionately defend themselves before the Nightingale and his foul parliament why their forbidden love should not be denied.

Alas, I'm not much of a wordsmith. My elder sister got her PhD analyzing Middle English debate poetry. But we need more like

God, I wish I could find a job that paid that well for something so simple... Also, are the Dazzlings actually interested in her but just really bad at expressing it? Or is this really just for the lolz? Heh, onto the next one!

Okay, that was funny. Now, off to see what Sonata needs!

Pretty good. You didn't need to recap the entire story at the beginning, but otherwise good.

“No way,” She said in complete disbelief as she now found herself staring at sock puppet versions of Adagio, Aria, Sonata, Princess Twilight, and Rainbow Dash.

“Remember, kids,” The sock puppet Sunset addressed the audience. “The magic of friendship is the strongest magic there is.”

Never thought I'd hear that from the sirens of all people/ponies.

When Sunset heard Adagio say that she and her sisters had put their show together in only a day she was instantly amazed by it. But even more so she was amazed at hearing what job it was that each Dazzling had done. She’d never figured Adagio to be so handy, or Sonata to be able to write a script. And she’d especially never figured Aria to be so good with a sowing needle that she could make so many incredible-looking sock puppets.

Sometimes people have good skills that they forget they have.

“Knock it off, Aria,” The eldest Dazzling sternly instructed her sister. “The kids liked it and that’s all that matters.”

And what counts it was a job well done.

“Yep,” Aria replied as she took her right hand and grabbed ahold of her vest. “I’d wear this but it doesn’t have sleeves. So can I have your jacket?”

That explains it now.

“I just do,” Aria very ambiguously said as she walked over to the driver’s side door of the van, opened it, and got inside. “Thanks again for the help and for the jacket.”

That still doesn't explain how she knows Sunset's number.

“Maybe she’s modeling…cowgirl attire?” She said aloud, though quickly dismissing that idea since her jacket was by no means cowgirl attire.

Yeah, I mean what kind of cowgirl would want to wear a leather jacket. 🤔

“Yep,” Aria simply replied. “Just modeling for the crows.”

Yeah but why as a scarecrow? And the fact you needed Sunset's jacket to do so?

“$15 an hour,” Aria said with a small hint of pride in her voice.

Dang. just to be a scarecrow, wow. I'm honestly not sure how to respond to this honestly.

“Sunset, thank goodness you’re home,” Sonata Dusk said as she stood up and ran on over to the Rainboom. “I need something from you.”

Oh boy, here we go again. :ajbemused:
