Wow, this was a pretty interesting start. I am a big fan of Banshee531’s Yugioh stories too (and all of his stories honestly) so seeing something inspired by it is awesome.
It was surprising to have Flash lose in the opening, but hopefully something good eventually happens to him. I noticed you said this will also have elements of Beyblade Burst. That sounds pretty interesting. Hopefully not like the finale of season one, since that ruined the first season for me, but I liked Evolution and Turbo much better.
I also liked how Flash Magnus is Flash’s father here, and it is implied Magnus is married to Somnambula. I ship those two so that’s nice. Hopefully Flash himself ends up with Twilight in this, since they are my personal favorite.
Well, I will be eagerly awaiting more!

For this story, I'm doing something a little different than most normally would. Maybe. I'm not to sure. Anyways, A lot of shows and fanfiction I see tend to have all the bad stuff in their past and explore it through flash backs or things aren't exactly bad it's the start of a journey. Nothing against those stories. Far from it. I'm fairly sure there are countless stories I don't consume that start vastly different from this.
I just haven't consumed that media, and I haven't started other stories like this, so I'm starting this story as a more of a heroes journey. Flash is content with where he is, and would grow to be a fine duelist staying in his contentment.
Now, for one reason or another, that life he has is going to crumble away. The question throughout this will be seeing weather or not Flash can rise from the ashes. If he can go from the life he has, to fall, to rise, and finish in a new life on contentment. At the same time, I don't want this to go into a depression bout since I have another story, not MLP, that goes into that.
So, yeah that's where my heads at as I write this story. We're at the start of the fall, where I've chosen to start, and we'll be going into the rise around chapter 3 or 4 if my calculations are correct.

As for the beyblade stuff, Evolution was my favorite season closely followed by Turbo. Of course, I'm not going to disregard the other aspects of the burst line, but i do agree that the finale of season 1 was a little disappointing. Rest assured god things will come Flash's way.
Well...this is a surprise. I'm feeling honoured that you would mention me. My one and only question is will you only be using canon cards are will you be making original ones like I did in my series.

A little of column A and a little of column B. Any deck Konami has made, anime and IRL, is up for me to use; however, there are times I feel certain decks lack cards. Sometimes I just wish to add in certain cards. When there are no cards that seem to quite fit what I'm looking for, I tend to create cards for various decks. Another time is to help with consistency.
Like a certain duelist coming up will be using the volcanics, and they are meant to be a larger powerhouse than the deck will allow. Thats why I've created spells, monsters, extra deck and extra deck monsters for them to use.

Oh boy, it looks like Sombra is slowly going to corrupt Forward, and meanwhile Flash finds himself betrayed by Sunset. Although I prefer Flashlight it still hurts a bit to see Flash hurt by someone he thought he could trust. Not to mention out of all the Mane 6 only Twilight vouched for his innocence in the apparent theft of their decks.

Yes! Finally something good for Flash and a win at last! The two year time-skip was a little surprising but it looks like that training paid off. Flash’s deck looks awesome so far!

When it came to the dimensional dragons, I didn't want to limit them to Flash alone. That's why I'll tell you there are two of each dragon out there.
Except for Starving Venom. Technically, this is only one Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, and that's because the guy who made Zeke wanted that dragon to have the real life effects while I wanted him to have the anime effects. So, a compromise was made. That is why Flash has Starving Venom Destruction Dragon. Depending on how you look at it, there are either two Starving Venoms or a Starving Venom Fusion Dragon and Starving Venom Destruction Dragon.
