The problem with methods of potentially killing an immortal is they tend to lead to "fates worse than death" if they don't work properly.
I wonder how they come back to life, do they pop into existance again next to their corpses or do the corpses heal themselves?

The thought had occurred to me but I didn't want to run the risk of it becoming repetitive. Granted, there are millions of ways they could kill each other and a longer existential conversation to be had, but I felt I got the point across. Plus, I honestly wanted to keep it under 2000 words.

I have no idea. I just assumed everything was reset at midnight. It's a bit of a cop out, I'll admit, but I was worried too much mucking about in the logistics of the death/un-death of immortals might detract from the fun of the story. It's an interesting topic, regardless.
