Velocipede

My darling, I compare you to a mare among Pharaoh’s chariots. Your cheeks are lovely with ornaments, your neck with strings of jewels.

The only human in Equestria needs help from Princess Luna, and has to explain a natural process of the human body. The human is very anxious. Also, a woman, BTW.

The character's consternation came across well and not a topic usually treated with respect. Definitely an upvote.

Evolution isn't concerned about someone's comfort level. The process of menstruation is to remove any nonviable eggs or zygotes before they develop too far. If the zygote can't implant and flip the hormonal switch in the mother before the monthly doom timer activates it wasn't worth bringing to full term in a pregnancy. I giggled.

Wait, it took me almost a year to realize that "full stop" is a synonym for a—

I clicked on this expecting a humanized Luna story, since hers was the only tag on here. What I got was a slice of life dilemma about the problems that would definitely befall a human lady in magic horse land without any frills. Noice.
