The Blue EM2

Glad to be here at last.

E

The tugboat, for its size, is one of the most powerful craft afloat. And the Seaquestria Tugboat Company is the power behind the docks and waterways of Hippogriffia port. This... is Tugs of Seaquestria!

Based on the classic television series, TUGS, and something of a reboot of my RailVerse setting.

Updates every Friday.

ok, i'm gonna ask something that might sound hella offensive, but i assure you i mean no offense:
do you have autism or some similar disorder?
because you sure do hyperfixate on trains and other methods of large transport

10608034
Yes. He does.

Same goes for me. :/

10608162
firstly, i'd like to hear it from them
secondly, you're acting like i meant offense
i didn't

10608168
None taken. Just..... wasn't expecting that type of comment on my UK Friend's work. :twilightsheepish:

Aria rolled her eyes. "Go back to sleep, Sonata."

Heh Heh... that classic line for Aria never gets old. XD :rainbowlaugh:

10608168
This is hardly the strangest thing to be fixated on. Even more so on this site and the overflow of weird stuff some people seem to have an obsession with.

A TUGS story?! Count me interested!

10608034
He literally has a train for his profile, he likes train, I like trains, tons of people like trains they just don’t bother people in public unless they have the same interest.

10608034
I am on the spectrum. But there are plenty of people interested in machinery and transportation who aren't.
10608168
You just did.

10608174
And fits here very nicely, methinks, given Sonata's general lack of intelligence.

10608177
If anything, it's one of the more common hobbies out there. How many other movements have succesfully purchased and operated examples of their focus topic on a large scale apart from aviation collections?

10608245
Welcome aboard! And let your heart be guided to the land across the sea.

10608572
didn't need to ping both of them, but thanks

10608578
I will be. It's about time we got a TUGS basis project

10608610
I assume you liked this first chapter?

10608702
Oh I did. You picked the cast very well.

10608703
That was something I'll admit I was worried about; who fits which character?

10608707
I hear ya. That task can also be a tough too.

10608708
And there'll be even more characters added over the next few weeks.

10608747
After all, Tugs had a lot of characters in its short run.

Quite an interesting adaptation, this. You've certainly hit the nail on the head with Blueblood in Top Hat's role, and I like how you've cast the aquatic characters as many of the other tugs. I'd be interested to see where Terramar comes into this.

One thing that puzzles me, though...

"As far out as Lily and into the city," Skystar replied. "Where was she from again?"

Didn't you mean Sunset Shimmer? Or does the pony Lily Valley appear in the series somewhere?

10608983
Typo corrected. Goes to show that even with proofreading, some things do slip through.

10609041
And some went on to great things.

10609122
Billy Shoepack's actor, for example, made it to the West End.

10609151
He was in the LOTR musical.

10608577
I used to be into model trains and ships. But I lost interest in it years ago. Though I'm trying to get back into model ships. Much safer than the real things of course. Less chance of explosions or sinking.

Or both.

10609596
I hope this brings back happpy memories then.

"You blithering idiot!" Blueblood shouted.

Now where have I heard that line before....? :3

"Target spotted," Grampus whispered.

Don't you mean Gallus?

BTW, I like the role he plays on here!

10618892
I used it back in Live While We're Young.

10619058
Oops. I'll go and correct that.

10619347
Corrected. Thanks for reading, and I hope this gets more traction soon.

10619361
Time to do a blog post!

10619373
And... done.

I must admit, selecting characters for this chapter was fun, but ultimately Celaeno seemed like the best fit for a reluctant pirate.

10619375
Hey it works for me, I mean there aren't that many pirate characters in MLP anyway

10619385
Equestria is, on the whole, a rather peaceful place, barring the old supervillain here and there.

(One reason why the dimensional merge shouldn't happen, but I digress.)

10619392
Likewise.

Besides the show hasn't explored everywhere in Equestria. Hence why we fanfic writers make stories to expand upon it

10619398
There's a lot of desert yet to be explored, for instance.

10619406
Yeah, then you got Zebrica and Giraffica too

10619421
They're putting some Zebrica stuff in the new comics.
