Its a few years old and from a discontinued story. I would need to rewrite it in order for it to meet my current day standards and I dont have the time for that I'm afraid.
And since I'll probably never write the chapter for Twilight I'll just tell you here. Their relationship was going to start with both Rarity and Twilight having been married to one another and then both secretly sneak out in order to see Zecora, and try to work through their crushes on her in different ways. Twilight was mainly denial, and would try to test Zecora in order to prove to herself that Rarity was better and thus her crush was stupid. Rarity would be too consumed by guilt, and would try to drive Zecora away and thus get rid of the source of her temptation. They would both fail in hilarious ways, and end up being told to meet at Zecora's at the same time. Once their Zecora would have more or less laid her cards on the table and proposed to join their relationship as a sort of concubine, with the chance of things becoming more and eventually marrying them both.
Either that or I was going to write the same story, only they are both having sex with Zecora, who just assumes they know about her, and thinks shes already a part of the relationship. Either way hilarity would have hopefully ensued.
If you want to steal this idea, go ahead. Just throw me some kind of credit, and link me when its done.
It's a shame it will have not sequels, there is a lot of potential with the descriptions you gave to the Cake Twins and I am really curious about the life of the CMC in this universe.

Wait, pretty sure this was from a request thread with a prompt I suggested of "Slice of life story set in the future, with the cake twins the age of the CMC are in the show, and the cmc the age of the mane 6. Topic can be anything, either maybe them or scoots baby sitting the cake twins" Or at least I thought that was the origin, since that's what it was posted for. Either way though, nice to see it finally being posted here though :D

Oh yeah! I was just going to expand on it later! Sorry about not posting this sooner. I guess I mentally filed it away as part one of a story and was going to wait until I had a few more chapters before dropping it here and then it just kinda got lost in the shuffle. XD
Huh. Interesting takes on the twins' talents. I actually had a very similar mark in mind for Pound, but I figured he'd go into demolition.
In any case, very fun bit of anti-drama. I do love the subtle background world building. (Apparently Twilight restructured Equestria into a democracy at some point!) Thank you for this.
