Even as just an impulse write, this was awesome. Slice of life is perfect for the EQG universe, and this delivered.

Well then, my point is moot. That makes the story all the more believable.
Whoa. Definitely an extremely entertaining one-shot VERY MUCH in character for ALL of the Rainbooms (ESPECIALLY Fluttershy with the "sniffer dog" and Rarity with that Mythology Gag to her pony counterpart). Yeah, Rainbow would PROBABLY be faster under her own steam than by airplane (and could almost certainly move fast enough to run on water ala the Flash), but I doubt she could memorize the maps well enough to beat the plane (and her bandmates) to their destinations, so I can understand why she didn't try that.
Though yeah, I can understand the frustrations from both the Rainbooms AND airport security.
All in all, the exchanges, characterizations and general wrap-up are ALL pretty well done.

Why do I legit wanna see exactly why they was in a courthouse now
I'll be happy to never, ever, get on a plane again. Been on them twice. First time was a month before 9/11. That didn't help.
And then the second time was coming back from Las Vegas in 2006. I was there the day there was some kind of scare at the airport, and that slowed everything down even more.
Then the air conditioning on the plane decided to quit on us. In August. In Las Vegas. The middle of the day. We were there a couple of hours I think waiting for that.
So yeah, I hate flying. Hence why I'm enjoying the girls' misery in this :D
