Aww, that was so sweet. I really liked this, it felt like a fairy tale adventure kinda like your Violet Owl chapter. I liked how each person they stopped to help ended up helping them on their journey in return, my favorites being helping Spike get to Ember's birthday feast and then fighting Chrysalis. But the ending when Twilight and Flash used their wishes to help each other instead of themselves was the most heartwarming.
My only real question is what happened to Timber after he abandoned Twilight? If karma hit him then maybe he never reached the ball in time and thus never got his wish.

Humm... this sounds familiar... like how I wrote Timber as the submissive unwilling partner of Gaea Everfree in my take of Legend of Everfree... it's like even though you can dislike a character, that doesn't mean you can write them as a villain.
There is a list of bird-human such being in folklore and myth
granted it's more of list of ... composite beings, but something like swan maidens could work...

So yeah, I haven't watched Fantasia 2000 yet.
I've only seen the first one. You see, my best friend and I are binge-watching every single Disney animated feature film, and the last one we watched was Saludos Amigos, back in March, and... I don't even need to say what happened after March, do I?
I do know, however, that there's a segment about a tin toy in that one. So it's safe to guess you based this story off that one, right?
