Opposite Day

For those of you who feel inclined,
To lay back and expand your mind,
This poem aims to make you smile,
So line up, readers, single file,
Into a world beyond compare,
No sense or logic anywhere,
There's really nothing else to say,
For you see, today is opposite day.

Well, I'm glad that everything that happened was just a vision Discord had. Of course, Opposite Day doesn't have to be bad. There are other ways it can be done, with less chaos and more fun.

With Fluttershy, rather than meat crave,
Could be changed from meek to brave.
And Applejack, who talks like a cur,
Could possibly speak sophisticated and demure.
In place of having too much drama,
Rarity could be mellow as a llama.
Rainbow could stay slow, there's nothing funnier than that,
Though she'd probably smash a certain draconequus's head flat.
Bookworm Twilight, who's known for going crazy,
Could take a day off and just be lazy.
With Pinkie Pie, the change would be most extreme,
As a pony like her would have the most fun in this theme,
So while everyone else turned into her bane,
Pinkie would be the only pony that's sane!
There's a million scenarios that can go this way,
For a fun and harmless Opposite Day!

Your poem is quite an endeavour,
With many words reasonably clever,
But as much as it fills me with joy,
To see the rhymes that you employ,
I'm struggling to reply in kind,
Writing this fic has warped my mind.
Rhyming couplets are too hard!

Thanks for the comment, and especially going the extra mile making it into a poem. While opposite Day could well be a much nicer experience, I'd imagine the God of chaos himself has some dark and twisted ideas at the back of his mind.
