Actually, after reading chapter one, I have a different plan.
I am re-writing some of chapter 1 so I'll add more of direction for the story, I'm not exactly happy with chapter one as it was done in a rush, but I am using it as a base-line and just editing and adding, maybe changing a few things.
I am having the Links face Cozy Glow, Tirek, King Sombra, and a G1 villain named Somnambula. (I might do Grogar, but Idk yet)
I'm going to have the Links meet the girls at the castle instead, with them having a meetinf=g (This will be, in-between season and 9)

I'm going to rephrase that question, but she can as she has experienced her own Dimensional travels when going to Canterlot High when she turned human, and Spike turned dog. So she has some Idea that beings from another world could be another species and that when going to the said dimension you get changed to said species or something from that world at least.
Lore has is one to see a lot, the other species are within mythology and their designs are based on the mythology apart from Ocellus (And maybe Silverstream which I'll edit in), she might be a changeling but her design isn't of one. It's a completely different design and would look really strange to the Links, even Lore. Lore is a lot like Pinkie, like a lot like her that one may think their long lost siblings or cousins at least, Pinkie knows a lot of stuff with her 'randomness' and so is Lore (Plus he's been on so many adventures), so it's not surprising that he would know a lot of what mythological creatures look like.
