Great story, can't wait for the next story. By the way is there gonna be Kai, Super, and GT. Just curious?

10407166
If you mean by kai, Z then yes. Super is also yes, I may add GT onto the end just to see.

that depends on how closely you're keeping to the canon storyline. is grandpa gohan going to be alive when db happens, or is he going to be gone like usual? this will be the first thing in DB that may or may not be changed...and it could have an affect in the long run.

10409262
I plan on him being alive, the only reason I'm asking this is I'm not exactly sure what to do with the before dragon ball starts at this point.

10409275
ah... not much you can do... i say skip ahead then. always could do a flashback or something later

Not a bad start, tracking.

could have sworn Goku started the series with a power level of 100

10410612
No it was 10, his great ape form was 100. He would not have lost to Pilaf if it was 100.

10410635
oh right, so Goku started of slightly stronger. Nice.

10410653
Yep, having skilled training partners helps.

10410659
Idk if making Sunset blind necessary, felt like you're just using that for shock value and make her more badass. Not needed as Sunset's already badass even without being blind.

10410665
This will have some impact. For example she will have hard time fighting enemies like 16, 19 and Magetta. Due to being blind, enemies that are completely mechanical she can't track.

10410744
you mean like eighter and Android 10? [they're the androids in DB era]

10410789
oh , sorry. Wrong android. But Android #8 did exist, and he's a pacifist so he befriended Goku instead of fighting him. There was another android/robot that followed the orders of the Red Ribbon Army during Dragonball. But he was defeated and destroyed by Kid Goku

10410653
agreed, he started off five times stronger. quite the change. this is essentially where he was after training with roshi in canon

short, but gets the ball rolling. nice. i'm also looking forward to what affect not hitting his head will have on goku, not to mention actually having someone around for several years, instead of being alone like canon

139... lol deceptive old man isn't he?

also, bulma in the early days was very selfish. but lo an dbehold, doing a good deed has its rewards

10411887
The thing is Sunset will likely steamroll everything I mean her power is 140 so she is stronger than Roshi before he buffs up.

10411890
absolutely. goku went from 10 to 50 with roshi training, whats it gonna be now that he already reached that point? and then there's sunset, what kind of trainig could roshi offer, if any, now that she's essentially at near master level as far as power levels go? it's clear king piccolo still trumps them

This is surprisingly very well written. I always love seeing good crossovers and dragon tends to be a bit tricky depending on the other source. My little pony tends to be one of those tricky ones. I have seen some good crossovers on this site but a countless number of bad stories as well. I deeply impressed by how you have intwined both universes together so far.

I am a little confused onto why you decided to make Sunset blind. But it appears as though you have something planned with it. Although a senzu bean would heal her eyes in an instant. Yet I question if you will do so or not?

In any case great job on the story so far and I can’t wait to see where this story will lead into the future.

10411887
Isn't Roshi's full, completely unrestrained power that he apparently never used before Super stronger than Z Freeza? I mean a punch from True 100% Power Roshi (when he had that control talisman on him) made pre-Tournament of Power Goku's arm numb. There's no way he goes from 250 in Dragon Ball to 2500 in Res F to trillions in Pre-ToP from training between those periods of time.

10411963
agreed... tien even admits to knowing full well roshi held back against him in the tournament in DB. roshi also more than holds his own during the ToP. using full power has a cost im sure. no matter how strong, or long his lifespan is at this point, his body is still an old mans.

10411899
It's not just power, Roshi will offer technique and experience.

10412029
I meant to write senzu bean. Darn auto correct.

10412555
No, that's not what I will have happen.

10413163
Just about what I figured. But I am curious to see what your planned in the near and far future. :twilightblush:

only going to get worse the longer bulma says nothing

seems rushed and you forgot to add Yamcha's reaction to fatally injuring someone before he got knocked out and how he felt after being slapped awake.

10415283
I made some changes, thanks for the feedback.

Just read the story and its very entertaining and interesting can't wait to see where this is going to go and how far in the dragon ball universe this will get to.

Honestly, I don't know what people are talking about when they call this rushed. The only criticiam I have is that Yamcha didn't react at all to killing Twilight in the gruesome manner he did and isn't showing signs of it affecting him now. There's a reason a hand through the gut is a consistent MO of sadistic characters in old-school anime, a character type that Yamcha never was. He's literally got blood on his hands, and the existence of a metaphorical reset button it not a reason for him not to be wracked with emotion. As far as I recalled he never tried to take a life as a bandit.

one more to go... and then canon wise, was roshi training.. how will that go here though?

I don't think wish granting dragons have battle power. Their power is dependent upon the one who created them. The most prominent example of this is that Shenron lacks the power to grant a wish of the death of someone whose power exceeds Kami. Of course, as stated by DBZA, there's likely a loophole in those terms. Wish granting dragons can't directly kill anyone too strong, but they can teleport people. That could be used for indirect killings. But then there's the demonstration by Goku that the target of a teleportation wish can resist the teleport if their power exceeds the creator of the dragon balls, and if they do then the wish is beyond the dragon's power. Still the argument could be made that Goku could only successfully resist the teleportation because he was familiar with the sensation of being a target of a wish, and so he could respond appropriately to resist. Abridged Shenron's counterpoint of how to wish for the deaths of Nappa and Vegeta still stands, especially since the wish would be upon their pods. Machines with no will of their own.

...Sorry, got on a rant there. Anyway, since Shenron's power would be dependent upon Kami, I don't think he has his own battle power. ...unless I've missed that it's been confirmed by Toriyama that Shenron and Porunga have Ki or something similar. Actually since Shenron and Porunga are magical beings, wouldn't their power be more accurately measured in Kilis? There's much more relative power in one Kili than there is in a single point of battle power according to Freeza Force life force scans. Given the scale provided by Babidi's reading of his meter, Freeza's full power from the Namek Saga propably wouldn't have even registered as one Kili. After all, a cybernetically enhanced Freeza stronger than his fully biological 100% power was such a non threat to Super Saiyans right after the Freeza Saga's conclusion, that by the time Babidi surfaced the full base power of the Saiyans probably well exceeded the low end hundred million scale battle power of Freeza's 100% power. Like, by 10s or even 100s of times.

Sorry to keep rambling here, but about the whole Kilis vs battle power scale, isn't it funny how the baseline to destroy a planet just kept going up as Dragon Ball Z went on? First it was Vegeta's Galick Cannon which would have registered at 25000 at the absolute most. Then 70% Freeza couldn't destroy Namek in one go because he'd held back a little. Later a huge ball of energy from a Freeza over 100% power would have just destroyed Earth's core causing the kind of collapse he'd done to Namek. During the fight with Cell a huge beam from Super Saiyan Grade II Vegeta would have been just enough to destroy Earth if he'd aimed it at the planet. Then during the raid of Babidi's spaceship Goku's Super Saiyan power level was said to be only 10x the power that could destroy a planet. Finally, a basic Ki blast from Kid Buu was stated by Goku to have been powerful enough to destroy the planet, and then a massive Ki blast was stated to be 'enough to blow up the planet 10x'. Which should be 3000 Kilis. Yet Goku had to use Super Saiyan 3 to fight Kid Buu. A form that should register as 24000 Kilis.

They probably don't, I just wanted to give him a power rating. It's not going to that plot relevant anyway. I mean scouters don't exist at this point.

10419839
Fair enough. Though technically scouters do exist, just outside the story's current scope of the Dragon Ball.

Which part of the Dragon Ball franchise are you going to use?
