Long ago, in a realm similar to one we know well, Predators and Ungulates fought in a vicious war that ended with the Predators being banished to an interdimensional prison where they stewed for thousands of years. They managed to escape but were promptly sent back to their prison by the six champions of their homeworld.
Now being released from their prison for the third time, the last of the predators find themselves in a land somewhat similar to their own, yet different in many ways. United by their common predicament, the predators are ready to bring this world to its knees.
So whose going to stop them? Starlight Glimmer of course!

Well, consider me hooked!
I am eager to see what happens next.
Whoa. All I can say is VERY intriguing start to this story. The exchange, characterizations and future chapter set-up are all wonderfully done in all the right ways. Yeah. The stuff in the actual game taking place so far into the past is a rather interesting detail and I DEFINITELY loved the detail that the six main Key Seekers EVENTUALLY decided (correctly) that they would have a MUCH better chance of success by working together. And the detail of this being set years after Twilight became ruler of Equestria is another great point. Unfortunately, Starlight is extremely bored by the extended peace and it is going to lead into a "Careful What You Wish For" situation. And the briefing from "Treehouse-of-Harmony Twilight" was certainly quite appropriately nerve-wracking.
I wouldn't be surprised if, given his power and personality, Discord might be an old friend or close relative of "Fred". And, given the reworked picture, I am going to guess that Thorax, Maud and Discord are going to be helping out Starlight, Sunburst and Trixie here (Sunburst and Trixie being onboard is pretty much a given, since they are already featured on the character tags). So it's going to be the last six surviving Foenum Predators against Starlight, Trixie, Sunburst, Maud, Discord and Thorax. VERY definitely an intriguing match up.
Anyway, very certainly looking forward to more of this.
Luster Dawn will play a part In the saving yes. How she will do that I will not say
REALLY good job on this latest chapter. It took a while, but was quite worth the wait. Love the work that went into the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I certainly enjoyed seeing Sunburst defusing that argument between Trixie and Luster (at least for the time being). And his reaction to Starlight's bit of news was quite understandable. And Fluffers scared off a timberwolf. Yikes! I have got a bad feeling about this, but it's the bad feeling that is good for story-telling.
Definitely looking forward to seeing how the other remaining Predators are going to try to bolster their ranks.
At any rate, certainly awaiting the next chapter quite eagerly.
