So anyone who knows anything about the old frontier towns knows they weren't places people chose to live if they could fit in anywhere else and the sort of people that made their lives there weren't usually in a position to judge others on their choices and lifestyles.

This is a small venting of frustration at a clan of frontiersmen and settlers living in the most dangerous and wild places in Equestria being portrayed as judgy suburbanites.

Later, at Twilight's castle...
Twilight: It is doable. You two just have to decide which of you wants to be the stallion for the first go around. I am sure you shall be taking turns at it for quite awhile.

Nice little story.

It needs pointing out, since people obviously can't be bothered to pay attention to the show in this regard.

Equestria was never once shown to be homophobic in anyway, least of all the Apple Family. It would be a shock to be sure. But I never once saw any reason that they would object if Applejack was a lesbian.

Whatever horsehit you read that said they were, or Equestria is, is nothing more than fanmade horseapples made for no reason whatsoever.

Hasbro got away with what they did with Lyra and Bon Bon because those two were never central characters of the series on a weekly basis.

If they'd done the same, and made it 100% clear any of the Mane 7 was in a relationship with another mare, it would cause a serious shit storm by parents and other, less respectable, people.

Most of the spelling errors are deliberate phonic spellings to suggest a southern american accent as opposed to RP English, the rest is dispraxia. Thanks anyway though.

Nah, Granny isn't a fool, Adoptions are a pot luck as to what you get, she wants strong backed and athletic great-grandkids to take up the farm, a bit of weather control wouldn't go amiss either. She's seen what Alicorns can do and knows if she shames AJ enough they figure out some way to make it work.
