It didnt do a good job at doing it. It made me feel disinterested in this story. If it was basically them talking about an overview of victory's adventures then I'd read the sample but I skipped the majority of it till I got to the end because none of it felt of value? Or something? Anyway I did not like that chapter at all

This student council stuff has become almost background, which would be odd if it wasn't for the two chaos wielders and the double. Still looking like it's going to be interesting though!

Him. I imagine midnight like an anime character who always has their eyes looking closed with a wide, calm, and polite smile at all times. With that really dramatic steepled hand pose with one eye opening for impact when stating something unnerving. Well done.
I did not see any of that coming but in hindsight, midnight's interest in the fact she didn't have a phone makes more sense as well as the student president debate confusion from babbling's (I think that was her?) perspective.

10409668 As amusing as that would be, the laws of physics and lack of magic kind of get in the way of that.
But yeah, just launch her straight to the top of a telephone pole, call for assistance to get her down, and while the men get her down, she's throwing a tantrum over being rescued by men. Then Searing goes on to add another layer of burn by pointing out the sheer hypocrisy the woman has been spouting.

Yeah. Thought, it isn't EXACTLY clear how strong Searing is right now. And she also spends a fair amount of time around Discord. You gotta expect something random and unnatural to happen around her. Then again, this is your story.
Gotta say, I really like that Searing went to spend time with Mr. Trender on Christmas. He must've been feeling pretty lonely without anyone to spend the day with. And no one should spend Christmas alone.
Thanks for the chapter. I look forward to seeing how Searing is going to react to Valentine's day. I can only imagine how embarrassed but happy she'll be on that day.
