This was a very special flavor of surrealism. I liked it! Any story with Wally is always good by default, and you brought something unique and interesting along with good writing to make a story well worth reading.

Intresting. Aside from the time twiller looping time backwards to the point Wallflower set it to, and it taking place in a forrest, I don't think I understood a thing going on in this story, but it was still poetic enough that I enjoyed it anyway. So thanks for the read, because I genuinely enjoyed it.

It was mostly just a big ol' metaphor, lol

I thought the two lines at the very end of the story would've made it a little more obvious, but still glad you enjoyed it.

I enjoy surrealism a whole lot, but unless I have access to the writer's thought process, I am unlikely to understand any of it.

Like I understood the time loop being a thing, but not how it was broken, and since I recognized the artifact the moment you mentioned it, I was expecting a much more literal story.

It was still nice to read though, and I think I picked up on some of the symbolism, if not all of it.
