Call me Prince Procrastination.

Soarin asks to meet Rarity’s parents – naturally, Rarity would rather die.

And as the horrid day continues on its merry way, you'll find that there are no good guys here; just lessons to unlearn and battles to choose.

Slight crack, so the characters do come with a grain of salt.

(Also you'll notice I had to edit the coverart because Soarinxanypony is harder to find than I initially thought. Original art is linked)

Very cute and with nice characterization. Rarity is often at her best, in my opinion, with a bit of an edge to her as you wrote her. Soarin' is a loveable goofball like he is often portrayed, and Rainbow feels very early-season, which I reckon fits the prompt. I enjoyed the humor and Soarin' and Rarity felt very sweet and appropriate together. Good show! :moustache:

“Sweetie, pick a princess and pray,” Rarity hisses with a deceiving calmness.

Goodness this was just chock full of sweetness and snark. I don't think I've ever seen this pairing before, and I really hope to see more of it.

This was perfect. Loved it all the way though to the end. Rarity was perfect, Soarin was a loveable goofball and Rainbow was just an extra delight. 10 out of 10 from me

This was really cute, and Rarity's embarrassment at her family felt natural given her tendency toward drama. Soarin and Rarity is a pretty unusual relationship, but it worked here.
