As far as the marriage thing goes, I'm thinking they'll be given a very convincing alternate explanation, but then they'll (Big Mac and Cheerilee) throw the ol' switcheroo on 'em.

It's not like they're five year olds. I'd put them at about pre-teens to be honest, if the mane six are about 18 to 20-ish. Which is generally about the time these things start developing.
I'm also thinking there might be some Scootabloom there, otherwise I'm missing the point of Applebloom's sort of pained and wistful reluctance towards the thought of Cheerimac.
