It’s been a long time since the schoolyard election, the CMC’s cutie marks, and Diamond Tiara’s realization of the true meaning behind her own cutie mark.
Young adults now, Diamond decides to go for it and finally ask out her foalhood crush, Apple Bloom. Only, there’s a little problem… Even though she’s gotten better and improved from a mean school bully, ponies are still wary of her. How will she prove to Apple Bloom she really has changed? Will they make it work, or was their love doomed from the start?
(This takes place just before the mlp season 9 epilogue where the CMC are adults, but have not yet started working at the school.)

It's a nice story. Short, sweet and wrapped up neatly. I could say that it moved a little fast, but it's not that big of an issue all things considered.

This is one of my favorite ships. You’ve managed to incorporate some good ideas in here, like a sweet proposal, therapy for DT, and a divorce for Filthy. I really would want to see you write more of these two because you have a nice grasp on their character and I think this could have been longer.

Thank you so much! I think I will be expanding on this in the future as Diamondbloom has become a favorite of mine as well recently. I do agree I could have written more for it, but as it was I barely finished it in time for the contest thanks to life and more than a few writers blocks lol

It is an interesting ship isn’t it? It’s not one I really considered until Diamond had her little redemption arc, but it is one I like because of how close the Rich family and Apples have worked for, basically forever lol. Really glad to hear you enjoyed it

A couple small-ish typos (that I won't bring up specifically since it's a pet peeve of mine when I see those unsolicited "typo" comments in fics) but a very fun and cute read!
