I make both fanart and fanfic. I draw all my cover images myself, and I take art and writing commissions!

Scootaloo hates Father's Day. Always has, always will. When she has to make a Father's Day card in school she plans to burn it. But a certain older sister may have other plans...

A little slice of life father's day one shot. Written in 1hr 15 mins for Koren's Father's Day speedwriting contest (update: won 2nd place!). After a little editing (with thanks to LibertyDude, Koren, Vis-a-Viscera and Rainsilient for notes), the finished fic is ready!

Nice story! I really enjoyed it. It's a sad life for Scooterloo being abandoned like she is.

Oooof, yeah. Not sure what Scootaloo's parents are thinking, but what's more important. Your job, or your kid? Hmm, tough choice.

That was sweet of rainbow dash.

Yeah, they could at least send her letters or something every now and again, I know Equestria doesn't have Skype technology or anything but it's like they forgot they even had a daughter. I saw a cute picture a while back that showed Scoots dad visiting her in school in his guard armor. Much more meaningful than the shows "G'day Scoots ready ta leave behind everythin ya've evah known since possibly the day you were born?"

"The Last Crusade" established that Scootaloo and her parents had in fact been writing letters to each other. Though the end had them surprised to hear about all the important stuff Scootaloo had been doing for Ponyville as one of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, which you'd think she'd have mentioned in said letters.

And even if her parents' research is so damned important for Equestrian science, the least they could have done is arrange for her to actually live with her aunts, rather than being mostly raised by whatever local adults aren't busy.

Don't remember that part (the letters that is) but it's been a while since I saw the episode.
