The Nibiru Collision is supposedly a doomsday event, in which the Earth will be altered forever by colliding with another celestial body. This story may prove otherwise.
When what was widely believed to be a meteor crashed to Earth, the first to arrive on the scene of the crash were most certainly NOT law enforcement. Nope! It was 16-year-old Maggie and her older brother, Luke. What they found at the crash site will change their lives, along with the lives of every other person on Earth, forever.
Note: This is a work of complete fiction, drawn from the mind of a complete nutjob (the author). Any similarity to real people or events is entirely coincidental.
Why did you make Maggie a teenager? Wouldn't it make more sense to make her a child?

Why would that make more sense?
This is an honest question, just so you know. A lot of people tend to assume my questions are sarcastic whenever I put them in text form, but I'm honestly asking. Why would it make more sense for Maggie to be a child at this point in the story?
As for why they're a teen: I wanted to make an interesting character with childish tendencies, but I didn't want to make a child. After all, I wanted her to have a fair amount of life experience.
Besides, there are somewhat childish teens like Maggie, just like there are remarkably mature children and remarkably immature adults.
What's a Nibiru?
I'm enjoying this; I just wish the chapters were longer. It sounds like Discord's planning on turning us into Equestria, starting with the Mane Six, which is a scary thought. Looking forward to more!
