Dang!?! I couldn't help but wince when Twilight tripped. Between the trip and the landing, I bet that stung a bit, not that she could have noticed at the time. Very cute story. Also the first one that hints at an age difference between the girls that I've seen. (That may be worth looking into) Good job!

Nah, I'm just being nitpicky there. But I do think Sunset is a good bit older than the rest of the girls, as in pony years she's older than Princess Twilight, and PT is what, 25ish? I think time might move slower in the human world, meaning that after the mirror delayed Sunset when she stepped through, she aged slower from that point on than she would in Equestria, meaning Starlight and Twilight would look about the same age as her when they came through the portal.

Maybe...but maybe not. I have read some authors who speculate that Sunset, when she came through the mirror, didn't come through at her physical age, but at her level of maturity. And when you think about it, that makes sense.

That would imply that she's a lot younger than 17, cause she's definitely very mature in my eyes. I don't know how I feel about that, but it could make sense. Still doesn't explain why Twilight was only a teen, since she's a LOT more mature than a 17 year old.

Yeah, I noticed that. Hmmmm....maybe we're over thinking this. We're expecting a consistent well thought out canon, and it all may just come down to Hasbro wanting a spinoff to sell more toys. (heaven forbid)
