Octavia's on the hunt for a wife. Due to the circumstances outside of her control, Trixie is the best candidate. They are not overly amused by the situation.

Written for May Pairing Contest 2020, yay! Go join it!

This would be set sometime before the end of season 9.

Trixie´s special talent is stage magic. Ponies don´t take well being unable to express their talents properly.

That explains why Dash was freaking out in the Mare-Do-Well episode when she was being showed up.

interesting start, cant wait to see where it goes, at least trixie got the ego of rich nobility down

Interesting. I'd love to see how this turns out.

be interesting to how ponies will react to this marriage

Rarity: Darling, are you saying Trixie's related to a unicorn princess of long ago?
Trixie: Yes.
Rarity: *faints*

this is a nice example of how different they are just as octavia was thinking last chapter, octaiva complaining about marriage are noble duties, and heres trixe getting such joy from eating rice in a portion size that for her is a luxury, they are living in opposite worlds with different rules and lifestyles but then again opposites attract and Octavia planned for everything but actually falling in love

That was a cute way of actually proposing there.

Dude... That was more or less played for laughs, and you did so well. But for those who understand, that was brutal. Bravo on managing to respectfully satirize such a potentially divisive subject.

Felt a lil rushed at the end, but I enjoyed my time with it. I do enjoy lesser trotted pairings, after all.

Really table etiquette is easier than it looks when it comes to silverware. All you have to do is use the outermost utensils and work your way inward with each course. The names are unimportant as long as the host doesn’t breach etiquette by skipping or adjusting the courses.

Very nice. Would have been fun to see it continue.

Interesting take on Octavia.

God damn this is sad. :fluttershysad:

Definitely feel like it could of used one more chapter to really allow for Octavia and Trixie's feelings for each other to breath but it was still satisfying never the less.
