"... okay, I have another plan!"

T

This story is a sequel to Rescue On Devaron

A group of bounty hunters are hired to track down Jedi Master Lyra Heartstrings and obtain precious cargo she is carrying with her. But things take a change when the Mandalorian bounty hunter sees what kind of cargo this Jedi is carrying...

Inspired by the Mandalorian TV series, as well as the Clone Wars 2008 TV series. Collab with Scholarly-Cimmerian.

Looks like a great start to a new story, and I look forward to seeing how this story will progress down the road! :yay:

FUCK YEAH! This is awesome! Keep up the good work, my friend.

This is going to be good!! Can’t wait for more of this.

Shouldn't Mando have killed Aurra? Now she'll want revenge.

I love the Mandalorian I can't wait for the second season!

Wait a second. Those droids the Mandalorian has... Those are the same droids Ashoka used in the Clone Wars finale! But they're obviously still alive, so this is an AU within an AU.

Hehe, yep. Taking inspiration from A LOT of things. :3

This was a fun second chapter. I really enjoyed the exchanges between the Mandalorian and Jedi Lyra. And baby Flurry is just adorable :yay:

Definitely looking forward to whatever comes next!

Hondo! :yay: I always loved that guy. Great to see him make an appearance in this chapter. Really got a kick out of the action in this one, especially with the bounty hunters versus Mando and all. :ajsmug:

Though our protagonists have managed to evade capture once again, they're not by any means out of the woods yet...

Ri2

Should've killed Aurra when you had the chance, Mando.

Ri2

Good old Hondo. Always a pleasure doing business with him.

Great story so far. Honestly I've never watched The Mandalorian but this is pretty great. Lyra is a nice addition and it took me a second, but after reading the name of the protagonists ship, the character's color scheme should have been a dead giveaway. Can't wait to see what happens next in this chase across the galaxy.

I am glad you are enjoying it. ^^

But yeah, even if you haven't seen the show, it's okay. Honestly, the only inspiration (around the time I had been writing this) had just been around the first two episodes, and Clone Wars. Even though I've seen it all now, I'm still gonna stick to what we've got goin' right now. :3

Wow, there was a lot going on in this chapter! Admittedly mostly exposition and character insight, but still, knowing more about our players is always a good thing. I really liked the backstory in regard to Lyra and Flurry, that was nicely done. Looks to me like Lyra's starting to win over our Mandalorian protagonist, hehe.

Also, Gloriosa and Timber Spruce are showing up! Interesting, looking forward to seeing how this will all turn out in the future. ^^

Hey, another Jedi Lyra fanfiction. That's great!

Nice chapter. We get a bit of story of both parties and why they are where they are right now. I can see why Mando prefers droids to organics that can turn on you at any given opportunity though it comes with the loss of any real connections you can't program. Seems some time around the Jedi and Flurry is doing her some good in that regard.

The enemy must want that baby very badly if they ripped through a personal battalion of clones to get her. And now it looks like Lyra has gotten them involved in matters that they probably would do best to avoid but she's a Jedi, and one that wears her heart on her sleeve.

Now the only two bounty hunters we need to complete the set are Zuckuss and 4-lom.

Star Wars: Adventures in Babysitting, streaming now on Disney+!

This was a doozy of a chapter for sure, but I sure enjoyed it! :raritywink:

The beginning of this chapter had a lot of cute and funny stuff in it with Flurry and Mando. :yay:

And then that ending, oh dear, that's quite a cliffhanger...

Ooh, an IG droid? This is gonna be good...

Nice work, Four. Can't wait to see how this all comes to a head! :pinkiehappy:

Nice. A short Seven Samurai/Magnificent Seven side adventure before they head out on the net leg of their journey. Who would have thought Gloriosa could use the force. Though, is she really worried the Jedi would forcibly take her or persuade her to go? I was under the assumption they'd leave her be, given her age. Still, her secret is safe with Lyra and the Scrappers won't be back anytime soon.

.35% to 1

That's not how odds or probabilities work. You either have a whole-number ratio (300-to-1 against, or 300 failures for every one success) or a percentage (in my example, 0.33% success rate). You don't mix the two.

This was a really fun climax! I really enjoyed the big showdown with the Storm Army forces, and the denouement (that's "conclusion" btw XD) was really nice too. Glad that Lyra's gotten to see the Mandalorian's face now :raritywink:

(Also, while it's kind of mean of me, I really got a laugh out of your scene with Flurry and those two scout troopers. :rainbowlaugh:)

Great story, Four, I am quite proud to have been a part of its production. And again, the cast list at the finish was a very nice touch as well!

Even know the author might not intend it... but Jedi Lyra and Mando Bon-Bon.... I ship it.

Hell even the Scrapper Clan shipped them too as a joke.

hehe. Actually, you’ll see very soon how close they are gonna be... :raritywink:

Really glad to see that one of my favorite scenes from the show made it in!

DID YOU KNOW THAT WASN'T ME? :rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh:

I was also really hoping the commando droid would say "I am taking them to imprison them... in prison."

OH SHIT! Don’t ever piss off Momma-lorian

You know their real names aren't Cheep and Geegee, right?
