This story is a sequel to Falling to my end
Silent Night, a human turned pony who fell from the sky. He just wants a quiet life, but its anything but that. Having an obsessive stalker and an entire clan of ponies after him are a few examples. Getting rendered unconscious often doesn't make things better.
After the events of the last story Silent hoped his life would be uneventful here on out, but no, fate had other plans. After becoming Twilight's guard by Princess Luna due to his resemblance to her son long ago. He soon finds out why by being reverted into a foal and being dropped into the past... on his face.
Now he must live in this different time as, Lunar, the son of Luna. Will he find a way back to his own time or will he meet his end? Having dreams of dying isn't helping either. All he does know is that he will find out why Lunar disappeared. Until then, maybe he can make some friends on the way.

you think presnt luna is going to be mad that starlight pretty much killed her son and octavia got her guy killed by starlight... i dont think starlight will be alive for when he gets back. i also hope that the mares of that village get what they deserve after all those children are grandchildren to the princesses and if luna finds out what happend to her son then both starlight and those mares could be in troble

Recklessly tampering with the timeline for stupid reasons (forgiven in the show, but End could change that), possibly one of the reasons NMM came to be.
Kidnapping.
Abusing magic.
Reckless endangerment (left a stallion turned foal that's barely able to speak alone in the forest at night)/ attempted murder of a Royal Guard/ attempted Regicide.
High Treason.
Pretty sure that's most of Starlight's crimes. As for the other mares?
Kidnapping.
Stalking.
Harassment/ sexual harassment.
Rape.
As for Luna? Probably the only ones she'll acknowledge as her grandchildren will be Tavi and Vinyl's, I can't remember if he did it with Spitfire, though she would probably have assault/ battery and stalking at least.

it will be silent who is the pivotel point with all of these as with the mares if he pushes the fact that being brought up in a community like that would be bad for them he might be able to get luna to help him get his kids for himself as leaving them with the mares is asking for worse troble later. as for starlights crimes its unlikly she will get waya with them now as in the show twilight was able to fix it all and as princess she can pardon her but with luna's son addid to that luna isnt going to let that happen most likly.
I'm getting the feeling that this event caused a time paradox which altered time. That's why in present time Luna sees him as her son, and explains why his speech is the same. Their both really the same guy. This is my theory anyway.
I started and finished the first and second stories today! I must have a lot of free time. Anyways, I have become addicted to this series. I hope to enjoy more in the future.

Ah, but that assumes he DIDN'T know in the previous iteration. I find it more likely he knew and thus no what he is doing is exactly as expected...
But there is also another theory. I cannot remember the name of it but it is that time resists change *Sips Tea*.
The more you try to change events the more the events push back and resist it. An example would be going back in time to kill someone. The more you tried the more things could conspire and push back (Gun jams as you fire it, poison in food is thrown away due to sudden lack of appetite, bomb just doesn't go off, flight you plan to hijack is delayed, etc)
If that is the case the more he would try to escape the key events here the more little coincidences would force him back on the established path. *Sips Tea*
