You know, I thought I knew exactly where this was going because I've seen this before. Spike goes mad with power after "awakened dragon instincts," becomes an asshole, and is the new ruler of the Dragons. Typical stuff, really.
Only... you didn't. You kept him in character at the end. His first instinct is to give the power back to Ember. And on top of it all, the sex was hawt.
