I'm ok with this story. For the sexual Uncle part, I can think of sick [Beep] out there doing that to their nieces. So I'm giving this story a thumbs up, for the dark storyline. The authors are getting dark today. First is Banshee with those idiotic guards being mutilated and a whole species going extinct. Next is GodsLittlePrincess with the sexual harassing Uncle.

I only went that dark so that other people could come in and give Ocellus the support she needs. I don't go dark just for the sake of being dark.
A great bonding between Flare and Bee, does explain the later's sting.
A couple of criticisms
even given the sposed setting for the story Flare is telling, a more plausible retort as to why nothing was done is 'it's a 'she said-he said situation' which is hard to prove, especially without a rape kit.
Don't misunderstand me, I am pro-forgiveness, but healing from such an event doesn't require the victim to forgive their victimizer, only that they come to terms with what happened and let go and move on

Still liked it. The darker a story is, the better the opportunities you could make with it. In other words, Darker=More Drama.

When Flare said "heal," she didn't mean to get over it enough to live a normal life. She meant she didn't want to let the event turn her bitter and angry.

Fair point, but her vicitimizer is not owed forgiveness, yes it is an act that blesses both the forgiven and forgiver, but it's not a requirement for her to heal, she can not forgive and still not become bitter (see Katara at the end of the episode The Southern Raids, the second to last episode (the comet 4 parter counts as one episode) of Avatar the Last Airbender for an example)

My, I'm glad that was the darkest chapter, cause I don't think I could've taken any more of that. I'm still glad you ended it with that bonding between Bee and Flare. That was really well done. Maybe having Bee become (temporarily) part of the Sentry family won't be so bad after all.

As an only child, I 100% get where Micro's coming from. A lifetime of not sharing your parents (just mother in my case) and suddenly having it change is not something you easily get used to. Both of the times my cousins from the states came over and stayed with us for a month, I felt really uncomfortable and weirded out, even if I knew it was temporary. I can't imagine what it must feel like for Micro knowing it's gonna be permanent. But still, they're starting to bond, which of course is a good thing!

A Thorax-centric chapter? Huh, wasn't expecting that, but it was certainly interesting. Can't say I'm surprised at Chrysalis doing such a thing. I've said it before and I'll say it again: I hope she ROTS in jail -_-
Finally finished! Sorry I couldn't comment on the past couple chapters, but I'll just leave my general review here
Even if I *did* feel sometimes that your story was following a little too many characters, I get why you did that. They were all sort of "united" by the same event. And like I said to you before, really love how you buit both the individual characters and their relationships. Just in this short chapter I got a lot from the interactions between Pharynx and Gallus. And I'm glad Thorax found his brother! I hope they keep in touch and that Pharynx will be able to build himself a better life once he gets out of jail, and same for Gallus.
Overall, despite the darker themes you touched in these two stories and how hard some parts where to get through, I think you did super well. Good job!
