After confessing her feelings to Flash Sentry and discovering he returns them, they try something. A couple of weeks into their, well, relationship, Twilight Sparkle finds a prompt generator, normally used for fanfiction. Because of these new developments, she puts her name with Flash Sentry’s and sees what it generates for her.
What comes up catalyses a few turns in their relationship.
Takes place in the new year following Holidays Unwrapped with a few canon alterations. Cover art by me!
Written for FlashLight Week 2022, Day 4: Brave. It is also LGBTQIA+ Pride Month, so I couldn't help but sprinkle in some bisexuality.

You wrote this very well. I loved that they acknowledged that breaking up is a possibility. The problem with a lot of romance stories is that they never acknowledge that breaking up is a possibility and that all relationships are happily-ever-after. I also liked that Twilight and Timber stayed friends.

fellow bi person!! and yes, Flash is bi but Timber is actually pan! I was referring to Flash and Twilight mainly when I mentioned bisexuality.
yes! I love Flash and Twilight's little canon friendship in the show and I also felt it would be unrealistic for them in particular (given TimberTwi and FlashSet respectively) to ignore the possibility of the relationship not working out, especially with post-high school stuff. And YEAH, Twilight and Timber stayed friends!! I don't imagine they had a very dramatic break-up like a lot of people do, it was very healthy and mutual.
ah, so basically, the photo booth bit was to display Flash's affectionate nature compared to most people(/most boys). He's super touchy with his friends if they are okay with it so the photo where both he and Soarin kiss Timber on the cheek shows that. Twilight was simply teasing him about it because typically, guys don't tend to kiss other guys platonically. At least in the western world where I assume EQG is set in.
