Gilda wants to expand her knowledge of baking. Not wanting to rely on Pinkie Pie, Gilda goes back to school to learn from there. Also Gabby goes along for the ride. If only they knew what they were getting themselves into.

The grammar is concerningly messy at times, but overall, I'm interested to see where this goes.
REALLY good job on the start of this story. Definitely looks like it could be pretty entertaining. Yeah, Gilda wanting to learn how to bake, but being too stubborn to let Pinkie Pie be the one to teach her makes a great deal of sense for the character. As does Gabby coming along for support. And, the guesses about what that mare was trying to warn them about their future instructor was pretty good. As for the teacher himself, I have no guesses (beyond just about half of the older and somewhat senile teachers in fiction), but I DID get some laughs out of the interactions he's had with Gilda and Gabby so far.
REALLY looking forward to more of this.
Who was that?
Gabby does know another cook.
Have to say, this was definitely a quite entertaining chapter. The exchanges, humor, characterizations and future chapter set-up are quite well done in all the right places, Have to say, I DID get some laughs out of the chalk/pencil part and loved Gilda getting Mr. Loaf safely out of harm's way during the supplies avalanche, Gabby catching and removing that fly AND the two griffons baking so many different variety of cupcakes and realizing that if they could learn about all of that in a BASIC class, imagine what they could learn in the ADVANCED classes.
Anyway, all in all, I'm definitely looking forward to more of this.
