Okay, this is my first time really with one of these stories, having no prior exposure to Wild Access, but I had fun with this here! There's plenty of fun to be had, the villain Radiguet is a real treat so far - classic ham in the great Power Rangers tradition - and I am definitely looking forward to seeing where this tale goes from here

Yeah, Jetman was one of those many seasons you'd never see adapted into Power Rangers, mind you it was considered over what would become Mighty Morphin, but the idea of a sixth ranger and dinosaurs made Zyurangers win out and so history was made. Yeah, Radiguet in the original sentai was nowhere near this funny. He was a spiteful, petty sadistic bastard. Even today he still stands out for being so monstrous.

I tossed most of the controversial elements from Wild Access, the most obvious being the stupid and ever more complicated humanity plot. Also, the time travel thing has been canned as well, Equestria and its surronding Kingdoms are in the present day. Think how the magical realm and Briarwood were separated in Mystic Force okay? That's basically what it is here.

The idea is like this.
Rather than being understanding and forgiving, it acts more like the more dramatic fics, where she is heartbroken by their betrayal of her and viewed her in such a negative light that they felt that they could just talk to her. She's also upset about the hypocrisy from some of them, mainly AJ and Rarity. The leaves for her house, the others not following, hoping that the time alone will let her cool down.
During the night, she has a nightmare about the betrayal, which Luna arrives to help with. Luna offers her a chance to become her student as a way of giving her some time away from the others, so that she can think clearly. Luna reveals that she had a secondary motive for inviting her. That a new 'darker' evil has a appeared that a new power that can help defeat them(the villains) has also appeared. The only problem, the power can only be used by creatures that can fly. Luna has selected her for a variety of reasons. Including her skills, mental strength, etc. Luna takes her on a journey across the lands to try and recruit other members of their new Sky Squadron.

The term Sky Squadron is mix of their SS name. The organization that they for is called Sky Force, which the term Sentai, translates to Squardon.

Oh man, okay that's definitely a really good way to start the story. I got some good chuckles out of it too, Radiguet is going to make for an interesting villain, I can tell (loved the Megamind reference), can you chew the scenery in a fanfic? Because he's overeating. Its an interesting approach to adapting Jetman. I'm curious to see where this goes, lets keep up the good work!
This was fun reading. I needed to see some of Autumn Blaze after watching an episode of Strike. It was fun to see her and it was also good to see more of Sunset and Shining Armor, in particular Sunset's scene training with Starswirl - definitely caught the Gandalf vibe from him there, so good work on that!

But yeah, Sunset and Shining's relationship and how they bounce off each other is one of my favorite parts. Sunset's fiery red oni, and Shining's calm cool blue oni. You can read their relationship as you will. Also, side note, if you're an SPD fan you might recognize Charlie's name. She's eventually going to be the traitorous A-Squad Red. Wanted to show a different side of her, make her eventual fall five years on that little bit more tragic. Expect more of her next chapter.

"Strike" is a British TV series based on the Cormoran Strike novels by Robert Galbraith (well, J.K. Rowling actually, having written them under an pseudonym). It's about a war veteran turned private detective, and the mysteries he solves with the aid of his secretary Robin. But yeah, anyway, I do really like the relationship/contrast between Sunset and Shining. It's bound to be lots of fun.

Few things. One, the Pai Zhau angle has been cut cool as it was. Trying to curb the whole 'playing in other Rangers' toyboxes things. Secondly, well technically Zen-Aku is probably out of a beat cop's jurisdiction not to mention technically dead by all reports.

Ah, I see. Sounds like your standard murder mystery series. I personally prefer the Matthew Scudder saga by Lawrence Block, the perfect way to update the noir crime thriller. I'd really recommend the movie adaption of A Walk Among the Tombstones starring Liam Neeson, a really good way to get introduced to the world of Scudder.
