Yuuuuuush~
All the pones getting together, and Carrot Top is okay! An absolute win all around. I'll bet it was quite a task to compile all those different characters together though. So many sidefics going everywhere and nowhere to determine what they'd be and who would get there. Looking especially forward to changeling shenanigans, cuz bug. Another awesome chapter as always!
not only is this a grate chapter but i can see you are doing a tun of reading on the five score to keep your facts correct.
awesome writing and a grate story.
Just catching up now, was (pleasantly) surprised to see a continuation of the Lyra 5-score story that was started so very, very long ago.

I couldn't help myself, it was one of the first and it was inspiring! I won't try to take over that story or tell you what happened in between or make them main characters though, of course., in part because I fear trying to replicate the author's intentions perfectly and in part because I think most of us by now have imagined our own endings. I DO plan on giving several stories a bit of closure though. They'll be sprinkled in here where it makes sense and I'll use what can be gleamed from authors' comments, things they setup in their stories and what's going on in the shared Five Score universe.
Generally, the more a fanfic gave me to work with, the more I used it.
These last 2 chapters on the farm have been very uplifting. After all of Berry's trials, she is finally happy and surrounded by friends. I appreciate the author's note listing out all the stories that inspired each pony that showed up in the chapter.
I like Nathan's redemption arc too, I imagine after all this he won't be such a "dead beat" anymore. Seeing his friend Brian change may give him the courage to change, just not into a colorful cartoon pony.
I'm glad to see Carrot Top and Comet made it back, too. I wonder what happened to them during their time away, I bet the trafficking operation could be an interesting story on its own.
Ever since Berry was comforted by Comet's scent on his hoodie, I was hoping they'd make it back together. They do have an interesting and unusual relationship, but it comes across very genuine also. I think it's due to the flashbacks, you can tell Comet wouldn't leave a friend behind. That extended to him being there for Berry after the pregnancy, even if he preferred stallions, and making sure to also look out for Ruby.
It's a good thing he stayed back for Carrot, and Chad went by to offer them a ride. Chad's really put a lot of work in to help out. I can't remember if any humans played such a large role to helping the mane six, but it's nice that Berry and Minuette aren't abandoning their old human lives.
I don't think I fully appreciated on my first read just how hard this chapter must have been to write. Like, first off, you're pulling from nearly a dozen other stories, and actually doing them justice and hanging threads off elements from each of their stories. You even included Little
FootHorn, and gave his story it's due!But yeah, I really enjoy how inclusive you managed to make the plot here, where everypony, no matter how obscure, had a place and a purpose and felt "real" with their own characterizations. Trust me, I know from writing my versions of these chapters, that is no easy feat whatsoever. When I penned my chapters on the farm, I was just overwhelmed with all the new characters and wrote them out as soon as I could, but you managed to open your story up to over a dozen brand new pones! And it didn't slow you down one bit! Very impressive
(Also, the best character in the story, Chad, is still around! And still friends with Minuette! )
Also, circling back to my comment on "this chapter must have been hard to write", that whole scene with Berry and her mom, just wow. Even as a reader, putting yourself in Berry's shoes in that scene was a difficult thing to experiance. It was a very real, genuine discussion with your 'mother' when there are no easy ways out and no happy ending for the discussion to arrive to. It could have been so much easier to get through if it was more "G-rated" and with a whimsical happy outcome. But it wasn't that, it was brutally realistic and cut deep. Just cold hard facts and somber reflections. It's not easy to read, and it's a hell of a lot harder to write. Once again, props for taking the road less traveled.
Yay, Chrissy's here! She's my absolute favorite, and I'm so happy to see you taking inspiration from A New Hive, which is a wonderful story. I'm actually reading a physical copy of Changeling Space Program right now.
The reunion between Berry and her mother is wonderfully written. I'm a sucker for flawed people trying their best, and especially flawed parental figures trying their best. Amazing work, and sorry I couldn't leave a longer comment <3

A New Hive was great! While reading a bunch of Five Score it was a nice reprieve with its laid back tone. I paid special attention to it and the few other stories that made it all the way to the farm and beyond. They all set up the ground work for where my story is going. I included more A New Hive and other stories further on as well. I think you're going to love how this all comes together!
I'm glad Berry and her mom have made up. I hope they continue to properly patch up their relationship once this is all said and done.

I've yet to see Everything Everywhere All At Once but it's on my watch list!
Welcome to the farm, Moonlight Tome! I hope you get to relax, meet some more ponies from other fics and enjoy the calm before the final battle!
