I've already wrote it. Admittedly... I get bored reading it again. I generally have the thought of it in my head for a day or two before I even get started. It helps me put events down in order, and it gets rid of pesky mid-project writer's block. I'd probably miss most of my mistakes anyways, mainly because I'm the one who wrote it. I was taught in writing class that you are a bad proofreader when it's your own material. You don't catch mistakes you make often. The tense problem I make waaaaaaaaay too much.

Ah, I understand. I know quite a lot of people who have trouble taking a step back from what they wrote and spotting errors. It's always good to have a fresh pair of eyes, in that case.
Also, I usually end up outlining important events and dialogue when I actually decide to flesh out one of my ideas, so in that respect, you could say we're fairly similar
Anyway, sorry for wasting comment space, I'll leave you to your writings and wish you luck for the future
