Lovely. This seemed just spot on for both of them. I particularly enjoyed AppleJack’s epiphany about the nature of her love for Dash. They really do complete each other, don’t they?
I’m also new to the fandom, btw - like the other commenter. Got here after watching Jenny Nicholson’s presentation on the history of Bronycon. Thought I’d see what all the fuss was about, but never thought it’d resonate with me as much as it has. The cartoon itself is good, not great (don’t hate me), but somehow these characters and their world are endlessly fascinating. MLP is such unbelievably fertile ground for fan fiction, and I am hopelessly addicted, particularly to shipping stories. Yours are some of the very best.
