After a mysterious object exploded from the night sky, a magical shock wave spreads all around the town of Canterlot, giving some a lot of it's inhabitants powers. Flash Sentry, is among those who found themselves with magical powers, and plans to use it for good. However, after meeting a scientist who has knowledge about the strange phenomenon, Flash soon learns that other people might use their powers for their own evil agendas and must form a team to stop those kind of people.
And with an army of magical-powered teens, alongside a few Equestrian-magic powered girls, Flash and everyone must protect their city from the forces of evil!
REALLY good job on the first chapter of this story. The work that went into the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up are pretty well done in all the right places.
So, Flash has electrical powers, Mac has super-strength, Wallflower has plant powers, Blueberry has telepathic powers and Norman can see the amount of time somebody else has left in their lives.
And the next chapter is the explanation.
REALLY good work on this latest chapter. Really good explanation for the "Enhancement Orb" and the upcoming bad guys of the story. And, yeah, Blueberry's got a real upgrade on her TV remote (though she is, fortunately, more responsible about it than Wallflower was with the Memory Stone). Plus, yeah, getting Pinkie to help gather everybody who might have gotten powers from the Enhancement Orb IS a pretty good idea.
Anyway, splendid job on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places.
I'll definitely be looking forward to more of this, but will also respect that real world concerns need to take top priority and muses can be fickle.
Excellent job on the exchanges, characterizations, humor and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I particularly liked how Sunset got Pinkie to help gather everybody at the school together, the fact that Blueberry teased Flash and Sunset for still having feelings for each other and the reveal that LITERALLY EVERYBODY at the school got super-powers (with the exceptions of the seven that already had super-powers BEFORE the Enhancement Orb) and the plan to keep on the alert concerning everybody else who was ALSO affected by the Enhancement Orb.
Now, while I have no way of knowing ALL the powers gained by the Canterlot High students (or even MOST of them), I WILL guess that Apple Bloom gained Super Intelligence (a reference to her pony counterpart's talent with tools and potion), Scootaloo gained super-speed (like her big sister figure) and Sweetie Belle gained a sonic vocal blast power since those seem like the most obvious. Of course, I will admit that I COULD be wrong.
At any rate, I WILL be looking forward to more of this.
Watermelon.... :O....
You know that he will be the best guard to have around...
Now do it on a Thanos action figure!
Can she dodge a bullet when I shoot her with a minigun?
Ok.
Oh god Norman
He sees their death clocks
Have to say, you did a great job on this latest chapter. Love the exchanges, characterizations, humor and future chapter set-up in all the right places. Yeah, definitely spotted the references to Green Arrow and Hawkeye concerning Scott and the Hulk concerning Micro Chips, but I did enjoy the "Strength contest" between Mac and AJ (with Mac winning), Crimson demonstrating those sword skills on Rainbow (and ending up in that "duel" with Zephyr in the process), Apple Bloom turning that toy car into a real one, Sandalwood showing off his own plant powers and Pinkie cheering up Norman.
REALLY looking forward to more of this.
Okay, out of everyone's powers, I think Norman's might be the creepiest.
I felt this right here. Gosh! This is why I hate telepathy-based powers. They're just so violating.
Pinkie Pie. You gotta love her.
How are you going to coherently develop this story with this many characters exhibiting superpowers? Also, aren't Micro's powers supposed to stop working when the trigger passes?
>>Godslittleprincess
There are definitely pros and cons with these many characters but I've been writing stories with a massive cast in another site and well... TV programs, so I have the idea how to balance things out. As for Micro, his powers are indeed based from that character but plays outs differently which will be explained in later chapters.
Really good job on the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I particularly liked Scootaloo's point out that Bloom using her powers to create a REAL Thanos could only lead to bad things, as well as Fluttershy mentioning that Zephyr basically gained the abilities and personality of Sanji from One Piece, Flash showing some creativity with his powers (making him look just as much like, well, THE Flash as he does Static) as well as the start of that dust up between the Rainbooms and Blast (with Bulk/Captain Barbell stepping up to help out). Really good job on the cliffhanger too.
I'm guessing Blast gaining the powers of Nitro from Marvel Comics and Bulk gained the powers and personality of either the Tick (which would make sense as Bulk is already pretty close to the Tick's personality) or Hanna-Barbera's Atom Ant (getting powers from lifting weights). Of course, Mac might have gained the powers of Superman (though only showing the strength so far [again, super-strong nice guy farm boy; pretty much has the early makings of a Superman Expy already], which makes me worry that these Gorfs might have Kryptonite). Though I WILL admit that I COULD be wrong.
At any rate, I WILL DEFINITELY be looking forward to more of this.
This was strangely fun. Is everyone going to get their own transformation sequence? That's a lot of people to make transformation sequences for.
KO awesome chapter, well things just got crazy and now it’s battle between friends of muscles vs explosives!
>> Godslittleprincess
A few characters has their own transformations but not as flashy as the Rainbooms.
MY DREAMS ARE CRUSHED BY A NAGGING REDHEAD!
Hey, at least two guys fought over you, you should be proud :P
See, this is better.
My imagination consists of unspeakable horrors taken from movies, art, and the web. My creativity...I have none.
LOL
Yeah...where do these explosions emit from? If he emits explosions, wouldn't he be burnt by now? Explosions create shockwaves that forces matter away from the source of the explosion, if he is resistant to explosions, he would have been blown back by the aftershock of the explosive force.
By copying already existing powers from others. It's like replication or the Jurassic Park creature which was made by combining existing abilities.
Poor Rainbow Dash
REALLY good job on this latest chapter. The exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up are all well done in all the right places. I particularly liked how Twi managed to deduce the true nature of Blast's powers, the girls figured out that Hoops and his pals were the ones that set Blast off in the first place and Ringo (who obviously has the power of Scott Summers/Cyclops) and Muffins' roles in stopping Blast before anybody else got hurt. And, yeah, Fluttershy showing she is stronger than she looks carrying an injured Rainbow was pretty cute to see and Shining being shown investigating the situation himself was a really good touch.
REALLY looking forward to more of this.
KO awesome chapter, the heroes have managed to come down the explosive guy and it would seem Fluttershy is stronger than he looks though I think Twilight is gonna be in big trouble as well.
Why is Flash talking to himself?
Is Shining Armor the Inspector Javert of this story?
>>Godslittleprincess
Oh my! Thank you very much for pointing that out.
Holy crap !!! Do you STILL have room on this roller coaster of excitement and awesomeness ?!
Because, i wanna RIDE THIS DAMN THING !!!!!!!!

Well, hopefully, more sympathetic than the ACTUAL Inspector Javert. Hopefully more along the lines of Commissioner Gordon.
Maybe not, but we CAN hope.
I really liked your story. I also try to write similar stories, but I'm not very good at it. And now I need to write a boring paper, which I entrusted to the service https://au.edubirdie.com/essay-writing-help-online because I don’t want to write this paper. I want to spend time developing my writing skills for creative writing and not some essays I don't care much about.
Did Brawley really have to call him that? I have been called that before by a customer at the place I work and it was an insult.
