Rainbow Dash isn't much of a farmer, even if she is dating one. But when she gets a letter from a pegasus farmer begging for help with her unusual farm, she and Applejack are going to find themselves in over their heads when the problem is even bigger than they could have imagined.

Pegasus farmer? Now that just ain't natural. :ajbemused:

That was a lot of fun. Thanks for writing it, and I hope you do well in the contest!

“Goji berries!” somepony shouted, pointing in horror.

You wrote this whole thing just so you could make that joke, didn't you?

very nice story

Son of a gun, you actually did it.

“It’s got electrolytes!” Flim said. “It’s what plants crave!”

Excuse me, the contest theme was "Go Big or Go Home", but they did both. I'm deducting points.

I'm Spanish and Costa Del Tierra sounds weird to me.

Quick question before reading - how does this relate to the s9 finale, or is that ignored / takes place in a different timeline? :derpyderp2:

It deals purely with AJ/Dash, so no knowledge of the S9 finale is needed. I left the timeline deliberately loose so it could take place at almost any time after Dash joins the Wonderbolts.

I'm not Spanish and won't pretend I'm good at it. It's supposed to translate roughly to "Coast of the Land", implying the natives see it as being sort of a beach between land and sky thanks to its low altitude and number of ground-bound visitors.

This was just an excuse to write macro AppleDash, wasn't it.

Round One spray ?

Hmm, why does that sound familiar...

How many nations and states have banned Round Up now? Especially after the falsified lab results fiasco?

I guess Equestria has its own trials of chemical tribulations to work through.

Good story.
We always think we see the last of those two brothers, don't we ?
:ajsmug:

Cloud Farms? Woah, fantastic :)

Your worldbuilding was inspired. It's a delight, as are your AJ and RD. They're spot-on, their interaction is just lovely... the whole story is great. I could easily see that as the plot of an episode. And as much as I don't like Flim and Flam (it's more of a 'I love to hate them'-thing), you actually successfully managed to balance their usual shtick of 'using grey zones, right between villainy and getting by'. They're not evil per se, just... unlucky/stupid. Which makes them sooo annoying. So... yeah, they were spot-on, too.
And the ending is just wholesome. I totally expected this ending and it nevertheless didn't change the warmth I felt when reading it.
Thank you!
