Rrrgh. Lil' Cheese is a FILLY. Not a colt. Don't believe everything on Twitter for a living. -_-

Personally, I like to think of it as left up to interpretation. For example, I like the idea of L'il Cheese being a campy colt, but there's nothing wrong with drawing/writing them as a filly.

I understand that there is a lot of ambiguity when it comes to making the show vs. Writing scripts, but when writers say they intended it to be one way, I feel authors can take the liberty to go with it.
I'm also more than comfortable tagging it as a genderbend if people prefer, but that is why I put that disclaimer just so people knew. Thank you though!

It's not "everything on Twitter", it's the word of FiM's show runner on what the script intended—which is as close to canon you can get.
That said, you can make them whatever you like.
Well this was a fun read, hope to see more of them in the future, keep up the good work

Aw thank you! I definitely plan on writing more during my free time!
I am usually not one for colt x colt, yet that was really good fic. I found that you really kept the pacing of the story exceptionally well. Each word enthralling you to read more and more.
The intimate moments between Big Sugar and Lil' Cheese was really well written. You captured their hesitation very well, and made their first time a rather enjoyable one.
Looking forward to seeing where you take these two if you choose to expand on this couple.

Lil Cheese is a shim. They are both, and neither. They exist in a constant state of flux because the writers scripted boy and the artists drew girly. So their sex can be either until they are formally introduced inside another Hasbro product.
