Hello Blake

It’s been one week since team BBLO and EYWR trip to Vale and the argument between Blake and Weiss, where Blake had revealed that she was a former member of White Fang and a Faunus which made her run into the night, Blake hadn’t come back to Beacon since that event. Blaze told the teachers that Blake had some trouble with her family, and she needed some time for herself, they bought it but not Ozpin. Blake could see that Ozpin knew what was going on, but he didn’t do anything which puzzled Blaze. Why didn’t Ozpin do anything?

At the moment, the three members of BBLO with EYWE and TRRA was currently looking for Blake in the city but not everyone was there on their own free will. Ebony had to threat Weiss to come along for the search, considering the Weiss didn’t see the point in trying to find Blake. I guess a zebra can’t change it stripes.

Blaze was soaring through the air looking for Blake while the other was on the ground.

Ruby and Yang was shouting her name while Ebony was looking around for her, Weiss didn’t care at all.

Then Ruby turned to Weiss. “Weiss, you’re not helping!”

That made her stop. “Oh! You know who might be able to help? The police.” Ruby wasn’t too happy by that as she crossed her arms. “It was just an idea!”

Then Ebony spoke. “We are not turning Blake over to the police Weiss.”

This time Weiss crossed her arms. “And why not? She is a criminal.”

Ebony turned around to face her teammate. “Then maybe we should call humanity criminals, considering how we have how we have treated the Faunus since they appeared in Remnant and your family is no exception.”

Weiss just scowled. “Why are you brining my family into to this, they have been to war with the White fang for years.”

“They are only trying to survive Weiss.” Ebony almost shouted at Weiss, who back away a little. “Let me ask you all something, have anyone of you been on Menagerie?” She asked her team who just shook their heads. “I have and let me tell you there a lot of Faunus crammed into one place so I can understand why the White fang did what they do, I also may understand considering I’m from Vacuo and I had to fight for my life to stay alive. My point is that don’t judge every Faunus because of the White Fang or did you forget what Blaze told you a week ago.” Weiss was about to protest but Ebony didn’t let her. “You know what? Just forget it, you won’t listen, and I’m done trying to explain it to you. If you want to hate Blake then do it, I don’t care.” Ebony then turned around and started to walk, she was going to find Blake, no matter what.

Weiss didn’t want to admit but Ebony was right, she has blamed every Faunus for what they did to her family and not every Faunus is in the White Fang. Three members of team Tornado wasn’t a member of them, that she knew. Blaze wasn’t a member, Luna wasn’t, she didn’t know about Opal, but she actually hope that she wasn’t a member, anymore. Then it was Blake, she had hidden that she was a Faunus because she was probably afraid what others would think about her. Blake wasn’t a part of White Fang anymore because she stop believing in them, that’s what Weiss thinks anyway. It was decided, Weiss was going to find Blake and apologize.

High about the Vale was Blaze flying through the sky in search of Blake, it’s been a week and she still hasn’t come back yet, it was time to find her. ‘Where can she be?’ Blaze thought to himself as he soared over the city. Then all off sudden is scroll started to make a noise, he took it out and saw that it was Opal that was calling, he decided to hover in the air to answer.

“Yes Opal?”

“Have you found Blake yet?” Opal asked her team leader.

“Not yet, this town is pretty big, she could be anywhere.”

Blake heard sighed from Opal. “Okay, just remember to call when you find her.”

“I will.” Blaze hung up and continued to fly.

“Did he find her yet?” Luna asked Opal as she put away her scroll.

Opal shook her head. “Not yet, the only thing we can do is to keep looking.” Luna didn’t want to admit but she was right, they just have to keep searching.

Blaze flew over the city still looking for his teammate. “How hard can it be to find Blake in this city?” He asked himself.

Then all off sudden he notice two familiar figures sitting at café talking, one was male and had blond hair and a tail while the other was female and had long black hair, it was Blake and Sun. Blaze flew towards then and as he got closer, he could hear that they were talking about the White Fang.

Blaze decided to hover over them so he could listen. “Of course! I don’t think there’s a Faunus on the planet who hasn’t heard of them. Stupid, holier-than-thou creeps that use force to get whatever they want. Bunch of freaks if you ask me.” Said Sun.

Blake took a sip from her cup. “I was… once a member of the White Fang.”

That made Sun choke on whatever he was drink, Blaze thought it was a little funny. “Wait a minute, ‘you’ were a member of White Fang?” Sun sounded surprised and Blaze couldn’t blame him, but he didn’t really care that Blake was a former member, that was in the past.

Then Blake spoke. “That’s right. I was a member for most of my life actually. You could almost say that I was born into it. Back then, things were different. In the ashes of war, the White Fang was meant to be a symbol of peace and unity between humans and the Faunus. Of course, despite being promised equality, the Faunus were subjected to discrimination and hate.” Blaze couldn’t help but feel sick when heard that. “Humanity still thought of us as lesser beings. And so, the White Fang rose up as a voice of our people. And I was there. I was at the front of every rally. I took part in every boycott.” Blaze tried to imaged Blake protest again all that, he couldn’t

Then Blake counited. “And I actually though we were making a difference… but I was just a youthful optimist… Then, five years ago, our leader stepped down, and a new one took his place.” Blaze wonder who that was. “A new leader, with a new way of thinking. Suddenly our peaceful protests were being replaced with organized attacks. We were setting fire to shops that refused to serve us.” That sounded a little extreme, thought Blaze. “Hijacking cargo from companies that used Faunus labour. And the worst part? It was working. We were being treated like equals.” Not for the right way. “But not out of respect… out of fear.” Blaze was horrified.

Blake placed her cup down. “So, I left. I decided no longer wanted to use my skills to aid in their violence. And instead, I would dedicate my life to become a huntress. So here I am, a criminal hiding in plain view.” Blaze couldn’t help but feel bad for Blake. “All of help of a little black bow.” She then wiggled her cat ears.

“So, have you told your friends any of this?”

Blake closed her eyes and before she could answer. “That she did.” Blaze then landed beside their table. “But it didn’t go so well.”

Blake was in utter shock, she didn’t know that Blaze was there. “Blaze, how much did you hear?” She asked her leader.”

“Only the part that you have been ‘born’ into the White fang.” He then crossed his arms and gave Blake a disappointing look. “Now, I want to know where you have been for last seven days and why you decide to tell this monkey about your past with the White fang and not your team. Also, have you any idea how worried we have been?”

Blake look down in the table in shame. “I’m sorry Blaze, it all happened so fast, and I was just so embarrassed that I ran.”

“I get that you were embarrassed but running away is not the answer, you have to face your fear not run away.”

The Sun spoke up. “Hey, give her a break. She had a rough week.”

Blaze point a finger at him. “Stay out of this, this doesn’t concern you.” He snap at Sun

“Blaze, don’t be like that, he help me these few days.”

That made Blaze throw his hand up in frustration. “Unbelievably, you trust a Faunus you have just meet more than your own teammates.” He then started to walk. “Do what you want Blake, I really don’t care anymore.”

Blake got up and grabbed his shoulder. “Wait Blaze, if you really want to know why I didn’t come to you is because I’m trying to find out what the White fang is doing.”

That got Blaze interest. “What do you mean?” He asked her.

“I think the White fang might robe a shipment of dust today, but I don’t know where or when.”

Then Sun spoke. “I might know.”

Blaze and Blake look at him. “What do you know?” Blake asked him.

“While I was on the ship, I heard some guys talking about an offloading hug shipment of dust coming from Atlas.” Sun told them.

“Just how hug are we talking about?” Blake asked him.

“Hug, big Schnee company frater.”

Blaze gave a blank look. “That doesn’t tell us much.” Sun just shrugged his shoulder. “And where is this shipment arriving?”

“Down by the docks later tonight.”

Blake look at her leader. “We have to stop them.”

Blaze couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow. “There’s a ‘we’ now? A week ago you ran away and let him help you, not your own team and now you want my help.” Blake just look down in shame. “Give me one reason why I should help you?”

“If you really care about me,” She look up at him with tears in her eyes. “you would help me.”

Blaze felt like an asshole right about now, he wanted to be so mad at her, but she was right, he cared about her and the right thing was to help her, that was his mother told him.

Blaze let out a frustrating groan. “Damn it, what about Opal and Luna, are we going to get their help?”

Blake thought that more help could be helpful, but she knew that Opal had a past with the White fang and Luna was that good when it came to fighting, they would probably get in the way.

“No, it’s had to me you and Sun.”

Blaze wasn’t sure he heard right. “You want him to come?” He said while looking at Sun who had an innocent smile. “You are going to trust a Faunus you have know for a week over your own teammates who have known for three weeks?”

Blake cruller her fingers together. “Please Blaze.”

Blaze placed both hands on his face to cover up his scream. “Fine, but if I do this you have to come back to beacon with me and you have to explain to use why you ran away, got it?”

Blake nodded. “Yes, I will explain it to you all.” She then hug him. “Thanks you Blaze.”

Blaze couldn’t help but think he would regret this.
