Finished chapter 1. This has a very "Welcome to Nightvale" vibe to me. It's comical and spooky. I love how these weird incidents are so mundane to the narrator.

Ok, this definitely has strong John Dies at the End vibes. Mostly how the main characters are so nonchalant about all of the insanity. Like the whole “I’ve even talked to myself, and apparently I’m really boring,” reminds me of when John & Dave are questioned by Korrok’s followers about what it was like passing between dimensions, something they’d dreamed about doing for years, and they’re all “I don’t remember, I wasn’t paying attention,” and “yeah, it wasn’t that great.”
This is just… fantastic, lol.

That was inspired by Tales from the Gas station how everyone has had to deal with it so much they had become kinda numb to it all. I never read Nightvale but your not the first one who has mentioned it before so now I am kind of curious about it. And check out “Tales from the Gas Station” on YouTube. I think you will enjoy that series as well.

Well while I know that Nightvale has been put into print, I’d strongly recommend listening to the podcast version first. There’s just something about the Radiocaster’s performance that makes it so much better.
