Greetings my dearly beloved readers!
Well then, here we are...
A little over four years have passed now since The Titans' Orb: Breaking Dawn was first unveiled to the world, and at long last, the third book in this long-running series has finally come to an end. I certainly hope you enjoyed that emotional finale, and I hope you are all as excited as I am for what comes next.
And yes, that is a direct confirmation that the 4th book is officially happening.
And no, you can't know what it's called yet, as I'm yet to settle on the official title.
So, I'm sure you're all excitedly champing at the bit to know the answer to the following question...
What comes next?
Well, as I'm sure you're all aware by now, since the release of the first book's successful rewrite, I have chosen to go full-throttle on rewriting Rising Storm as well. At the time of writing this closing author's note, I have rewritten the Prologue, along with chapters One through to Five as well.
Continuing this lengthy rewrite process is now my main focus, as I want to ensure that every single one of my new readers can experience the TTO saga in the absolute best quality possible, and as of right now, Rising Storm is a far cry from that.
Now, this does of course, mean that the fourth book is still quite a way off the horizon.
I've written the Prologue for it, and most of Chapter One as well.
However, I'll be holding off on releasing those for the time being until they're more refined.
At this point in their creation, they're only rough drafts.
As for this now-completed third book in the series?
Well, with my writing quality in Breaking Dawn being far better, I most certainly won't be rewriting the whole thing.
BUT... I will be rewriting the first couple of chapters.
Not that there's anything inherently wrong with them, but since going back and reading them, I just want to bring them up to my new standard of quality, so I can be truly happy with the state of the trilogy. This will allow me to begin sharing it around with full confidence, which will spur me on to write Book 4 with enthusiasm and haste.
This is why Breaking Dawn hasn't been set to 'completed' yet.
Once the first few chapters are rewritten, I'll officially mark this book as done.
Please join the Titans' Orb Discord server for further updates, info, and to engage in camaraderie with fellow readers.
That's all for now, so stay tuned, and keep an eye out for new Rising Storm chapters.
(I've said it enough times by now, but it completely overhauls the story, and that means canon, not just quality.)
With all the sincerity in the world, thank you for sticking with the story this far.
I cannot wait to step into the bright new future with you.
With heartfelt warmth and love,
- Callum
Is there anymore chapters coming to this book (not trying to rush, im just curious)? cause they have yet to find the remaining shards, and im sooooo wanting more of this!!

Glad to hear you're eager for more!
As stated in this author's note, (and addressed in the TTO Discord Server), there will indeed be a 4th book to follow this one, which will continue the adventure. Trust me, I very much intend to complete this saga. It won't be coming to an end any time soon! 💓

No apologies needed!
I can't wait to bring you more of the adventure, your eagerness brings me great motivation!
Keep an eye out for new chapters for the 2nd book, Rising Storm, as I am currently in the process of rewriting that.
After that, I'll be delving full-swing into the 4th book.

Asside from SLIGHT continuity from the 2nd book on...there's not much that i *personally* feel needs redone, but will still read any changes you make! I LOVED reading everything and OMG the whole twilight being rude is SUCH a nice touch without twi-bashing and I LOVE that! I've always wanted a more..."grounded" twilight and much more of a CHARACTER instead of "LOOK AT ME IM PURPLE AND I AM BECOME NERD!" I love the fact you make her...well..HER...you are a very talented writer and I CANNOT wait to read it all again once everything is said and done! :D Much love man, PLEASE don't lose that fire like all the other stories "like" this (by that I mean the ones that arent just one-shots or humans fallin in love with ponies) did. I swear anytime i get INTO a series, I find out its been canceled or abandoned and it will break my heart if this goes to end up like those lol. i've NEVER been this invested in a story as much as I am this (im legit hyped)

Thank you so much for this comment.
I'm so glad you like the approach I took with Twilight. From the very inception of this tale, I wanted to make her a really intricate and nuanced character, whose mental health & intense trauma create something far deeper and grittier than the nerdy egghead we're all used to, so it's really nice to hear you're enjoying that element.
Writing Twilight has always been one of my favourite parts of this story.
I can absolutely assure you, I won't be losing my fire with The Titans' Orb.
I've come way too far to quit now, so for as long as there's air in my lungs, I will continue working on this until it has a true & conclusive ending, that I can promise you.
As for the Rising Storm rewrite, it's less about reworking the plot, and more about upping the quality of the writing itself. Yes, some plot elements will be altered (some already have), but it's otherwise more about making the emotion scenes more mature, and the violent scenes more realistic, as it was far too 'action hero' in the original.
I'm also interested as to which continuity issue you're referring to? As far as I'm aware, I've been very thorough with continuity, so by all means, please point to what needs looking at! 😮

Wait, this series has a continuity error?
W H E R E ! ?

He also steals bits of soul when he hits them (or is it just all of the bits when he finishes?) so it's really like Hollow Knight, if you end up rewriting this for whatever reason can't wait to see him pogo off of Nah'Lek a few times

) and it clicks with them and suddenly they get "oh shit that's what it is" realisations and then find help and support and community etc. Instead of having to take the long road to figuring stuff out like I had to so they can be happy faster.
Yeah, and I saw he basically acknowledged it completely later on, also you cheeky motherfucker with that ending realisation Fucking finally, I'm gonna have to wait ages on resolution for these things, aren't I? Honestly sometimes I'm just saying these thongs as general advice people might pick up- while also normalizing the topics I discuss because just because they aren't 'normal' doesn't automatically make them not okay. Of couse keep a suitably large pile of salt handy to add at your discretion in regards to your own personal situations on any advice I offer- But like someone could see me talking about something like polyamory or being Trans or Genderfluid or Pan (by the way pretty good explanation and I like the rep
(my excuse for not tagging this one is mentioning the ending at the start for this to be my closing bit until there's more stuff)

Glad you finally reached the end of the 3rd book.
It's definitely a hard-hitting one on an emotional front.
I appreciate some of your comments were more of a broad statement, so don't worry, I've made sure to keep that pile of salt close by.
Either way, it's always good & healthy to talk about and debate over such topics, which is one of the reasons why I've included so many of those elements to the series, from xenophilia (Callum's relationship with RD and now affection for Twilight), to Callum learning he's pansexual, to Twilight's OCD, to Phoenix Storm being trans, etc...
It's always healthy to broaden one's horizons and look at the abnormal as something to be understood, not feared or hated.
As I'm sure you're aware, this story is shamelessly a self-insert, with MANY segments of the story alluding to my real experiences, so it felt both right and natural to include the fact I'm pan IRL, especially given the context of that chapter.
Glad you liked the additional rep too!
As for Book 4...
Yes, it's a long way off. My sole focus atm is the Rising Storm rewrite, and a couple rewrites for Breaking Dawn's earlier chapters.
After that, I'll get on with continuing the tale.
Until then, I thoroughly hope you enjoy the rewritten chapters as & when they come out, and you're more than welcome to join the TTO Discord to chat with fellow readers and receive updates sooner than they'll appear here on FimFiction.
Fue una gran aventura este libro, me a gustado

Wow I had an effect on the contents of the story
It's super common for people to refer to any 4x4 as a jeep since jeep was the first major 4x4, but it's just wrong
I'm guessing it's a defender 110 they've got their hands on, sturdy vehicles that can be patched up easily. I wonder if it's an experience British forces car since arms dealers have got it, maybe they stole it along with the weapons. Also Callums brother will be super jealous because the military spec ones are cooler
