Finished just last year, it almost seems strange to be making this announcement so soon, but hey, I'm rolling with it.
Since Breaking Dawn's completion, I have been hard at work recreating the first & second books in the series.
There's been an eye-watering shift in the quality, regarding both the dialogue and the narrative itself, along with many riveting alterations to the lore and storyline. From dream sequence mysteries, to an unknown alicorn's mana well, the changes to the series have been substantial.
As for this book?
Well, I'm honestly still quite happy on that front.
Though not up to my current standard, I don't feel like it direly needs a rework.
At least, not for the most part.
However...
With all the changes made to the first book and Rising Storm, I feel that it's appropriate to make some hefty edits, both to accommodate the canonical changes, and also to bump the quality of the earlier chapters up to my newer, more professional writing standard.
As such, this book is now officially being touched up in what I'm calling the "Diet Rewrite" project.
Essentially, I'm giving this book a new lick of paint, but it won't be nearly as ground-breaking as the first two books.
As was the case with Rising Storm's rewrite, all chapters have been rebranded [ OG ] ones, indicating their outdated status. Once I've rewritten them, they'll be reuploaded to replace their original counterpart on an as-and-when basis.
I strongly advise you follow me on FimFiction or join the TTO Discord Server for updates on new chapters.
After this project, I'll finally start work on greatly-anticipated BOOK 4!!!
Thank you for your patience, and I cannot wait to make the light of Breaking Dawn even brighter.

Breaking Dawn 2.0?
LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOO!
Just finished the first two books. Is it ok to go ahead and read this one without the rewrites?

Hi ElementalTem!
On a personal front, I'd push to read only the rewrites as they come.
The rewritten chapters are much more than just an upgrade in the writing quality, with many aspects of the narrative set to receive some distinct changes that'll be reflected on throughout the tale, including the 4th book.
Of course, if you're set on ploughing through the story ASAP, then I of course cannot stop you.
All I ask/recommend is that you come back to see the changes in the rewrite after their release.
The new chapters are coming out relatively frequently, with updates and progress reports available in the official TTO Discord server.

Trust me, it's worth waiting for the rewritten stuff.
The difference in the Rising Storm rewrite was like night and day.
