Actually:
A) I'm pretty sure this is the other Flash Sentry, the pony one. And if human Twilight is any indication, personality can be wildly different on the two sides of the mirror.
B) Flash actually got better later on in later movies and shorts and specials. Now he's pretty enjoyable. Yeah, he wasn't anything special in the first movie, but so was literally everyone else.
C) No, you aren't meant to ship them. In fact, it was even acknowledged that their sort of relationship was over.
