When I look into the future, I see failure.

Getting kicked out of the Wonderbolts was never part of the plan. The only plan she had ever had was the Wonderbolts after all. Without them? There was no floor, no safety net, no warm hearth to retreat to. No chance of licking her wounds and bouncing back. For Rainbow Dash there was only the Sky.

Thank you (:

Not off the top of my head, but it was a short story tagged dark and a couple other things with her and Twilight. I think it was ‘Just as Planned’?

First off, congrats on winning the contest!
Now, more importantly, this was such a beautiful piece of writing. All at once aching and poetic and heart rending
All of it is unified and conveyed masterfully by the prose which is legitimately breathtaking, I honestly cannot praise this highly enough

Just reread this with the additions for fimfic - it’s fantastic stuff. It conveys hope and despair all at once in a way that really sticks with you. Great work, especially considering the time constraints.

How the crap did i forget to favorite this until now? Better late than never, i suppose, given that a truly excellent story should be given the credit that it's due. 🙂

Best written fic I've read in a long time.

thank you! its definitely my favorite piece of writing ive ever done so im glad it stuck out to you.

Wow, this made me feel emotions! I... I don't have much to say aside from "wow" in varying tones... your prose is beautiful, something I wish I had. Every word is carefully selected to paint a vivid picture in my mind. I love it. (Seer, why must you recommend the sad feels???)

EDIT: I shouldn’t have read this before bedtime. Not knowing what Dash did to get kicked out really makes the story cling like napalm.

Spoilered for mood whiplash: They called her Rainbow Crash for a reason

Ah yes time for my monthly reread of what I personally still consider to be your best work
