An engineer transplanted from Earth tries to take his work with him to Equestria, but it's a mare's world here, and he's not taken seriously. Teaming up with a purple alicorn gives him a shot at making his dreams a reality.
Ive already pointed out some of the issues already, and the writing still has some to be desired of, but that's mostly outer story shell stuff. The core concept, the portrayal of the relationship and interaction between the human and the princesses are very compelling and very well done. I love how well you make such a believable and realistic character of the princesses. It is your strongest aspect of your story in my opinion. Second strongest aspect would be interaction, 3rd concept.
Whatever it is, she’s practically putty in your hands now. She never once vocalizes any pleasure, not even that nickering you’ve deciphered means satisfaction, but from her big sighs to her increasingly-frequent stretching, you can tell you’re having an effect. Damn, maybe you should have been a masseuse this whole time. Something about mighty mares melting to manual ministrations makes your mind meander merrily. But your current line of work is the only reason you’re doing any good.
Some people are just like that. Untrained but still absolutely stunning masseuses. Ive been lucky to meet a few in my life. It is truly a great wonder. People highly underestimate the power of a massage done right and real good. One of the best experiences ever.
A body is a finely engineered system. Your actions build off an ingrained understanding of mechanical stress, loading, tension, and likely arrangements of connections between two points on a frame. Besides, your work has been honing your manual dexterity lately, so that’s a big part of it.
Actually true stuff. See this is what I love about you stuff. The real stuff
10018229 I don't understand what's so hard about it. You just need to give the individual bits of people a good squishing. Like moving the paste around in a tube without squeezing any of it out of the tube.
10036082 Are you aware that massaging someone improperly can actually do more harm than good? Understanding muscle groups, nerves, and connective tissue and how they relate is important to understanding how to relieve someone's pain. Get it wrong, and you could actually make it worse.
You fish your phone out of your pocket – careful not to jab Luna with your elbow – and set an alarm for the evening’s meeting. Maybe there’s something to be said for naps after all.
How did he completely forget to take a selfie??!? Augh! I am SO disappointed in you Anon!

Gotta love stuff like this in this story. This style/technique of writing just slapped into the story really shows off your writing skills, and not just this. There are loads of deeper/more complex devices you use throughout the story that really bring it to life and create a dynamic and almost interactive world and characters.
10036082 No, there's a reason there is massage school and therapeutic massage practitioners that get paid thousands by the NFL.
Anyone can smoosh their hands over muscle, but to actually heal the body, loosen joints, allow the spine to realign without chiropracti? That takes skill.
Celestia gets to her hooves, then makes her way to the two of you and kneels again. “She always took too long to get up.” She looks up at you then, with a twinkle in her eyes. “She looks so comfortable. Why don’t we join her?”
Loved the end scene :)

I am so jealous... :(
I saw the meme. And I love it.
Nice alliteration.

Sounds like Celestia was describing Anon, not some mystery stallion from the distant past... Cheeky princess.
Shame he didnt show Luna the speech

Seems someone's been reading Georg. He does the exact same thing.

This story is fantastic.

Such a sad truth. I would love nothing more than to see humanity traveling freely through space. A sci-fi dream come true.

Well, with the Dragon launch recently, the American space program is slowly being revitalized, even if it is at Elon musk's discretion.

Oh my god that's adorable.

I am the exact opposite.
however I had a boss at work who once gave me a massage and he was an absolute god
I was trying to wait until I finished the story to leave a comment, but I couldn't resist:
🎼🎵We're whalers on the moon
We carry a harpoon
But there ain't no whales
So we tell tall tales
And sing our whaling tune. 🎶
I'm truly loving the interactions between Anon and the princesses.
