Oh yeah, great story!
This is exactly the kind of thing I've been looking for! I'm so sick of seeing all that "doh, it's gonna be so boring in retirement, there's nothing to do" kinda stuff. I mean, there's shades of it here with Luna, but even so, this is the exact kind of thing I'd hoped the fanbase would start writing! The Sisters going on adventures together, not just lounging around in a house by the sea; actually doing something with their newfound freedom!
My only complaints are that there are a few typos and it's too short. I'd love to see a longer, multi-chapter story from this idea.
But all in all, great job, and thanks for taking the initiative. :)
I don't know why but this here sounds like payback for all the adventures she and her friends were sent to.

This story has so many amazing things about it that it's hard to list them all! Intense hook, great storyline, acting sounds just like the characters, just so many! I certainly didn't wanna miss out on the opportunity, so I thought I'd make a little audio adaptation for ya on this one! So if I read this right, Twilight was nice enoough to not use the law to force them to go. But she could have, and Celestia and Luna would have zero choice in the matter? If they have any respect for her authority.

Luna has the making of a Monster Hunter. Kind of a shame that I didn't get to witness some of it while Celestia is dragged along. I was kind of expecting her to be out of practice due to her years of comfort and had to let Luna take the leader role. Maybe another time.
