You seem to have failed to reply to whoever you meant to reply. However, to answer some concerns you might have about the fic, Cadance in this simply happens to be a kind of masochist, and one who enjoys what she's being put through. Which I assure you is a real thing some people experience, although this fic doesn't claim to be too deep or accurate a representation of it. Neither me or my sub are in that category, so it's a little foreign to me compared to something like, say, the D/s dynamic I wrote in Holiday Session.
