Here’s a slightly different take on hosting a bug’s eggs: Bloodchild, a short story by Octavia Butler. This is superb - it won both Hugo and Nebula awards - but be warned, it’s not an easy read. An NSFL rating might be appropriate.
Oviposition isn't my fetish (one of these days I'll proof a story for you that I'm actually into beforehand) but this was still super-hot. The Starlight/twilight dynamic was deliciously erotic and the Thorax/twilight dynamic was adorable and hilarious, which made for a nice combination.
