It's been over a month since Timber Spruce and Twilight Sparkle have broken up, and Timber is NOT HAPPY about it. Fortunately, he has plans to win her back, and for a master lady-killer, winning his ex back should be no problem-o. Well, a chance encounter with a bitingly sarcastic prep school girl forces Timber to finally see the glaring flaws in his wooing technique. Maybe Timber not only needs to change techniques but also needs to change targets.

I wouldn't be so... liberal with farm jokes around a particular cowgirl, Timmy... yes I just called Timber 'Timmy'. Try to sue me, you'd send more in legal fees then you could get out me for decades.
Quite the deviation from your normal work, I guess I should check out why Ro994 and AngyLopez ship TimbarFlare, but this is... an interesting start.
Although what shocks me is that you wrote Timber as not a complete compost pile... I am proud of you.

It feels like every single story on this site where Timber features at all is just to break up Twilight and him, usually for Sunset, often for an OC. To see a fic where he isn't made into some sick monster is... refreshing. I mean, it's still about the breakup there, but at least he feels remotely like the character we saw in the movie and shorts.
