(Inspired by Dinodisneylover1 stories The Disney Chronicles)
One day while walking through the Everfree Forest, Twilight Sparkle stumbles upon a strange device that she came across from her travels to the human dimension known as a 'television'. After bringing it back to her home, a strange vortex opens and sucks her and her friends inside.
Next thing they know they end up on a farm in a place called Kansas where they meet a nice girl by the name of Dorothy Gale who they will accompany on an amazing adventure.
Intrigue.
(This snarky response brought to you by the Oz Museum in beautiful downtown Wamego Kansas. When visiting our area, don't forget to stop by and admire our collection, and pick up a bottle of wine at the Oz Winery. Kansas, we ain't just wheat and tornadoes.)
This is very intriguing indeed. This might be interesting.
Ok, so next chapter will reveal what the OZ they arrive in is like. Almost certainly the movie of course, still It would be fun to contemplate RD getting competitive with the Sawhorse, and Twilight talking with Professor Wogglebug about his books. Ah well.
plz make a group for this plz?

not a bad chapter my friend will you do horror movies like friday the 13th hollow man and frankenstain
So what made you make a Disney Chronicles like series
Apart from a few obvious spelling errors, I can see a bit of potential with this story so far. If we're talking about 'future' requests for movies, that's going to depend on what 'kind' cinematic adventures you wish to cover. As long as it's not 'Disney' in a sense, I'm sure that'll do just fine. In the meantime, if we're sticking with the 'Fantasy' genre for the time being, there's tons of features in this category that would be worth exploring. Like...
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)*/Maybe including some scenes initially cut from the original theatrical release.
It's A Wonderful Life (1947)/Perfect for the holidays
King Kong (1933)/Or whichever version you prefer
Miracle on 34th Street (1947)/Unless you like the version with Mara Wilson
Field of Dreams (1989)
Harvey (1950)
Groundhog Day (1993)
The Thief of Bagdad (1924)/Though now that I think about it, this may be tricky to find.
Big (1988)
That's all I got for now.
* Hopefully you'll consider the follow-up features too.

Would you like to do your chapter review thing you do?
So I've been asked by a friend if I can do some chapter reviews for this story, considering what I've done for 'The Disney Chronicles'. Now I'm not going to be so nitpicky about grammar because that's been played out. I'm going to attempt to review the chapter, if not the story, as a whole. So here it goes:
So it starts off as a typical day in Equestria or about as typical as we can get. Twilight Sparkle is out through the Everfree Forest, which while still dangerous is not so that Twilight wouldn't go off into the woods to find ingredients for Zecora's concoction. But sure enough, from out of nowhere almost no reason, she stumbles upon this television that just happened to have been on the path when Twilight is just finding the final ingredients. Where did it come from? How long had it been there? Why Equestria of all places? Or for that matter... 'Who' personally left that television there? We don't get the answers for now, adding to the mystery as to why a familiar piece of technology is in Equestria.
All Twilight ever knows about television is that she's seen stuff like that a few times during her trips to the 'Equestria Girls' realm and she prefers books over T.V. So how could she explain it to her friends about some random piece of equipment that arrived? One thing is certain: The moment they turn on that T.V., that's when the weird stuff happens... That being a portal that sucks them away to worlds vast unexplored by Pony Kind (At least in this canon). I'll say this much: Zecora is going to be a bit disappointed that Twilight never got those last ingredients for her project.
As for this chapter in general, we get a pretty decent opening as Twilight and her friends soon realize they are not in Equestria. What I do appreciate is that it acknowledges they went to Kansas, it's not like the Kansas that we would know especially given the lack of color in the movie. It is here the ponies meet Dorothy Gale and her family, initially not taking the idea of talking ponies (Specifically unicorns, Pegasus, and an alicorn) or a dragon very well. But it's a good thing they do get to see they are friendly, even if hardly anyone else would believe it. They are definitely in for a bit of a doozy even long before they venture into the major location of which this movie takes place.
Can I ask where you got the art

Thank you for your compliment
Here's my suggestion, Shin Godzilla.
9966520
Wonderful suggestion thank you
This should be fun!
I'd recommend having them appear in The Muppet Movie. The Mane Six and the Muppets on a road trip to Hollywood, outwitting Doc Hopper, finding the Rainbow Connection, Rarity meeting Miss Piggy, Pinkie Pie meeting Fozzie, the jokes write themselves!
9966581
That certainly would be a great story to tell. Guess you'll have to wait and see
Nice work but where's the next chapter? Did you delete it?
How about try these on for size: movies made by the greatest directors of all time. Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Wes Craven, John Carpenter, James Cameron and Quentin Tarantino.
9966527
I was considering suggesting the very original Gojira or the newest King of the Monsters.

Next chapter should hopefully be up by the end of the weekend. Just need my proof reader to look it over. Sorry for the long wait it’s thanksgiving weekend and everyone wants to be with family
A small hint when it comes to posting 'YouTube' links, there's a symbol of a tiny camera on front of a paper with a folded end, you copy the link on that line and it instantly allows easy access. But otherwise, we do get to see how the ponies have adjusted to staying on the farm after meeting everybody. What's also great is how it attempts to corporate elements that previously weren't seen from the original 'product' thereby allowing some creative freedom for this version of the story. It is also hear where they meet their first conflict in Ms. Gulch, who threatens to take away the family dog or risk the family losing their farm if they don't abide by the law. So when the dog does manage to escape from Gulch and believing the family would sell them out (Or risk putting their existence in jeopardy), they have no choice but to leave in hopes it's easier for the family. But as we know what happens next... That might not be the case.

Also he gives Dorothy a bit of backstory
9970506
Dorothy definitely needed a bit of a backstory, since even a classic like the Judy Garland movie didn't offer enough material from the book. The movie presents itself simply that Dorothy lives on a farm with her aunt and uncle, along with three farmhands who work there. But sometimes we ask 'Does Dorothy have any parents?' or 'Why are they never brought up?'. I did feel that even though Dorothy's backstory or her family life are never fully examined, the least this version of the story can do is give a vague impression that Dorothy is an orphan and her 'aunt' and 'uncle' are the only family she's got.
For some reason, I expected Dorothy to first meet the ponies just after reaching the land of Oz And she explains what she had been through in Kansas afterwords.
Look forward to the twister part after Professor Marvel

Just gotta get to the next chapter
Just before we even get to see the Wonderful World of Oz (Or at least, when it isn't a threatening adventure), we get to one of the most iconic points of the story when a severe twister sweeps the land of Kansas. But even before then, we see Dorothy try to convince the self-proclaimed Professor Marvel into agreeing to take her along to see those 'Crown Jewels of Europe'. I often wondered if he had any intent of taking her along or tried to convince her otherwise with a story that her aunt was suffering a broken heart due to Dorothy running away. Whatever the case, even if his story was a load of bull, it was convincing enough to get Dorothy to get back home... Just as a storm was coming.
It's times like this when I'm glad the most storms we get around Florida, other than the occasional rain storms, are those hurricanes that edge along the state every other year. But sure enough, for Dorothy and her friends, everything they've experienced so far is only the beginning of what's still to come on their adventures.

Woo in this version it's a dream after Dorothy gets knocked out but it actually happened
9972139
Well that logic could still be up for debate, given the direction the film chose. But we shall see what happens as the story progresses. At least when Double E, mister or miss, returns from a well deserve rest. In the meantime, I'll have to seek something else to do to bide my time before the new chapter arrives.
9972145
I’m glad to hear that you will miss me and it is Mr. Double E
9972156
Well, least that solves one mystery.
9972163
Yep one big giant mystery that’s why my user name is extreme enigma
How about films that Arnold Schwarzenegger appears in like Terminator and Predator.
Can't wait for them to have their first encounter with the Wicked Witch of the West. She's one of my favorite villains. With some very memorable lines to boot. I also was scared of her when I was a wee lad.
The Witch also inspired a Power Ranger monster known as Witchblade in season 3.5 of Mighty Morphin' series. Totally love that character, especially because she's based on the Witch.

This is the episode she appears in.

As Terminator would say “I’ll be back” with more ideas really soon
Nice work on these chapters once more.
Wow! The Ponies and Spike are in sepia color now, and they are in the Wizard of Oz world! Very cool start! And I like how they even met Dorothy and her family!
Personally, I hope horror movies wouldn't be used for these adventures. I don't want Twilight or any of her friends to get killed, or even traumatized.
9972325
Thank you very much it’s nice to hear that my work is appreciated and loved. Next chapter won’t be up until at least the weekend but as soon as it is we got to Oz
Yeah, Dorothy, the ponies and Spike got to run away!
WHOA!!! That was a crazy dream!
Can't wait for the adventure begin in the merry old land of Oz!
Oh boy, I so remembered that part in the movie when i was just a little tyke. I had fine memory's about this film. I’ll just wait until they meet the residents of Oz.
I'm wondering if the ponies might compare, although in secret so as not to throw the story off, the main characters between Kansas and the land of OZ.
The West Witch, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, the "Wizard" himself
9973511
Just as Dorothy notices the similarities of some of these characters with that of the people she knows back home, I'm sure that might come up with the ponies on occasion. Sure, the citizens of Oz act differently than how the Farmhands and Professor Marvel act and yet much like comparing E.G. with F.I.M. there are some strong similarities they share. It's like being transported toward an alternate dimension where it's inhabitants may share similar traits with us, but they either act the 'opposite' of how we act or there's a distinct personality they share more so than how 'we' ourselves would use them. Even 'The Wicked Witch' herself would remind them of Ms. Gulch, who happens to disappear after the Witch is melted in 'Oz' much like what happens to an urRu when a Skeksis dies (And vice versa).
One of the only characters we really don't see bearing much similarity to anyone either Dorothy or the Ponies know is 'Glinda', who for all we know may be an interpretation of Dorothy's late mother or something. I don't know for sure.
9972361
Um... I'm getting kind of worried here. But since this is "Cinematic Adventures", and movies of all studios will be crossovered out, will you be staying Rated G for these stories? Or delve into PG or deeper territory? Because we'd be worried about the strong language any human characters can spout in front of the ponies' faces.
9973656
Well for right now I’m trying to keep it as child friendly as possible but I may indeed delve into more mature content later. Not to say I’m going to make a full blown hardcore R rated fic, it’s just that some words may not be best but I’m sure it can be worked around.
As far as ideas for what movies to cover for this series, I do have 'one' movie which is somehow connected to this current project:
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (No... Not the 'Johnny Depp' version, the 'Gene Wilder' version).
You might be asking: "Dramamaster, how are 'The Wizard of Oz' and 'Willy Wonka' connected?" Well, the answer to that is rather simple actually. Both movies were actually made as crossovers with 'Tom and Jerry' for straight-to-video releases. Granted they weren't the 'best' features in the 'Tom and Jerry' series, some would even say that this is a 'step-down' from their hay-days when they'd spend years trying to outwit each other with more clever 'Cat and Mouse' techniques.
But it's funny as I reflect on 'Wizard of Oz' being used as the basis for the first crossover of the 'Cinematic Adventures', I'm reminded of that one 'Tom and Jerry' special (Granted I never saw that version, but I heard about it). And given that 'Willy Wonka' was one of my favorite musical films growing up, even though the author himself hated that version, I think it would be rather fun for the ponies to explore.
Food for thought.
