Thank you. To be honest, I think it could've been better if I decided to dedicate a chapter to each character and took a more nuanced look at them. You raise good points regarding starlight and discord. I suppose it depends on someone's view of starlight, but I can see where you're coming from.

Honestly, she's one of my favourite characters. I really liked her as a villain, and I really like her as a protagonist. Her development was a little slow initially, but I liked her a lot from the end of season 6 onwards especially. I wrote what I thought she might think in this story, but I probably overdid it. Character personality and growth has always been a weak point for me.

I'd like to ask you. WHAT character development? Was she punished? Did she have to WORK for her REDEMPTION? If you want I can link you to a couple of videos by Lily Orchard, he, yes, HE does pretty good job saying facts. Specifically about redemption. And Starlight and Sunset in comparioson, why Sunset had redemption, and Starlight hadn't.

Luna: Twilight was great student, Tia. And a close friend. I can’t believe she and her friends suffered through it all!
Discord: I can’t believe it either! I was going to marry Fluttershy, and now that’s she’s gone…WHAT WILL BECOME OF ME?!?!?! (Sobs) Oh, Fluttershy! Why? WHY?!
Celestia: She was so close…(crying) so close!!! Why is the world always out to get me?!
Luna: (Bows her head down sadly) I guess we’ll have to keep ruling Equestria for many more years to come! So much for our retirement.
Celestia: (Doesn’t do anything. Instead, she just nods)
Discord: But, now what? I mean…is Equestria safe now? Is this the end of Harmony?
Celestia: GET OUT, BOTH OF YOU! JUST GET OUT AND LET ME GRIEVE!!! (Sobs)
Luna: Come on, Discord. Let’s tell the news. Celestia needs some time alone. (Discord nods and they both leave together)
Celestia: (waits until the two have left. Then, looks down and cries) I could have gained a new successor to take my sister and my place someday, but instead… I just lost a student, and a fellow princess of Friendship. Goodbye, Twilight Sparkle, and your friends. All of your heroic deeds for Equestria will never be forgotten. (Walks off sadly out of the castle, not wanting to look out the window once)
