:trollestia:

The teasing in this story is relentless!

That dream was pretty cute.

Awwww this is cute

Great pacing. Looking forward to more!

This ending was cute.
But I'm curious because she was just in heat, did she just get knocked up?

jesus christ its the purge

Lol.
It was someone upset with the cover art that wasn't pertinent to the story. When a comment gets more downvotes than the story has upvotes, it's not a good comment.

Nope, she was back on her meds when she was sure he wasn't in to her. Then he was into her and no worries, just better orgasms.

So they don't ovulate until they get it on?

When a woman has sex during ovulation and is on contraceptives they're chemically infertile. Same thing during the estrus process, but with natural herbs in the style that ancient Egypt used to extinction.

So it's the bounce off the walls type not the stop ovulation type, got it

A very cute ending. The build up all the way here was completely worth this moment, and it was enjoyable to read through all the way to the end.

The only thing that disappointed me was the dream walking not really being addressed or acknowledged, after having a whole chapter dedicated to it and had the effects carry on in the story from that point forward. The final scene seemed like a very good opportunity for Shadow to reveal what she did with Sterling about it. Given how hard she worked and teased him for it, it was strange of her to not revel in it and share the stress and effort she went through to finally enjoy this with Sterling, instead of strangely hiding her decision to give him that push.

The dream was always heartwarming and touching enough to easily overlook anything dubious about it, as long as Sterling was happy after hearing about it, and him knowing that it led to this happy coupling. Not revealing felt uneasy from how unresolved it was.

Plus, the reveal would've led to their session in this last chapter being that much more meaningful and wholesome, if Sterling discovered that all those things he said of how much he always admired, respected, and wanted her for so long was something he actually revealed to the real Shadow at the time, as leaving him with the impression that Shadow doesn't know anything prevents any of that from surfacing and adding to the moment.
